About The Professional Fitness Coaches Association

Raising the standards in fitness coaching.

The Professional Fitness Coaches Association Description

We don’t teach you to think outside of the box, because everything you need to know is already inside the box. You just need to understand how to apply it.

The PFCA was founded in 2015 by Performance Enhancement Expert Nick Grantham and founding director of W10 Performance gyms Jean-Claude Vacassin, who together with their expert panel, have combined to provide arguably the most impressive educational team in the UK.

Everyone involved with the PFCA has a proven track record in their respective field and continues to work successfully at the very top level of their profession, each providing knowledge to the programme in their particular areas of expertise.

Our purpose is to raise the bar in the area of exercise coaching. It is aimed at anyone who wants to expand their knowledge in the area of professional sports and fitness coaching.

Our students typically include personal trainers, strength and conditioning coaches, physiotherapists, chiropractors and other rehabilitation professionals.

Unlike many other training courses, the PFCA is not a system or pre-determined way of doing things, but rather encourages critical thinking through guided learning, so that our graduates gain a solid underpinning knowledge across the core modules, rather than become talking heads.
