What a nice shop, first time we called in at Scalby near Scarborough, the staff and especially the boss were all very friendly and helpful, will certainly be going back, lift for disabled, disabled car park.

A good local supermarket, some prices are abit high some are abit low, you've just got to shop around.

very good convenient store. easy access. polite staff. post office and other good shopping. all under one roof.

Went in to post a parcel at the post office, and cashier wanted to know what was in the parcel when I could not tell her all of the contents she refused to send it. Hence took parcel to post office on Newland's where cashier was friendly, I was not asked about the contents and parcel was duly sent without any problems. I would suggest people opt for the post office on Newland's unless you like dealing with staff who think they are above their station!!!! NO stars but couldn't post without selecting at least one!!!!!

Really good card section upstairs, 7 days a week post office downstairs, good selection of meat, fish fruit and vegetables, but specialises in locally produced food like dressed crab etc.

Do have some reasonable offers and the DIY section upstairs is excellent. There's a small lift if you struggle with the steps. Staff are very friendly and often willing to help and go the extra mile sometime carrying heavy things to your car if you ask and unable to manage.
