15 hours of steeping, a beautiful label along with divine botanicals. Just a couple of the many reasons we chose the superbly tasty @fordsgin as our gin of the day #tasty #heatwave #refreshing #fordsgin #ginlovers #bristolgin #gin #craftgin #botanicaldrawing #ginstagram #bristolbar

We had a lovely meal lunchtime yesterday, we had a our grandson with us, he really enjoyed his child's meal of fish & chips he's never had hake before......thank you for a fab meal & attentive service

This establishment and manager in Bristol (UK) should receive a medal, not only for the wonderful food but also for the facilities provided, such as a fully accessible toilet for wheelchair users, ramp into the venue and flat surfaces once inside, making it an all-round delight for me. So many restaurants in the UK exclude wheelchair and mobility scooter users so having found one that made me feel so welcome I cannot praise it highly enough.

I bought lunch for under £10 and it was superb. The view was amazing, the service was friendly and polite, they even had proper cloth napkins. Their front door has so many awards stickers you can hardly see though it and strangely enough it wasn't crowded!

User

The food here is so gorgeous, the views are sparkly, the service is lovely and the gin is plentiful. Highly recommend

User

The first time I’ve been there I’ll be back 🍺🍺🍺

User

Superb gin, superb food, superb service. Lovely evening. Can't wait to come back

User

Lovely pub, excellent food, fabulous bar staff that are very knowledgeable when it comes to Gin! Drinks are made with lots of TLC!!! I can't recommend this place enough, an absolute must visit....

User

Lovely location and the warmest of welcomes on a wet and windy Saturday night. The bar was stocked with almost every gin imaginable and our choices were served with care and attention to detail. The Autumn menu was excellent and I would especially like to mention the lovely lady who waited on our table. She was just great and gave us recommendations on food, wine and more gin! 5 stars definitely!

User

Love this place! The extra effort these guys put in is astounding.

User

I ate there with my daughter last Friday. She had the best fish and chips of her life. I had a 3-course meal for £15 : it was one of the best meals I have ever had ! Excellent food, lovely staff, very nice location and decor. Will definitely come back for more ! :)

User

Great place to stop by for a drink. Excellent location. Haven’t eaten here this weekend yet, but have done before when visiting Bristol. Can recommend.

User

Great food ask the barman about his own gin ! Great place

User

A great night out. The 4 of us ate superb food; an absolute treat. Lovely atmosphere with very friendly and attentive staff. They overheard that it was my birthday and I received a birthday card and a complimentary port - a lovely touch. We will definitely return.

User

Nice pub with a outdoor seating area that overlooks the dockside, and is very pleasant in nice weather.

User

Food was excellent. Ambiance very good. Right beside the water so a nice walk after lunch is most acceptable. Only drawback from my point of view was that I found the menu a little limited but if everything was as good as the fish & chips then bring it on

User

Very nice meal, had the cod and very tasty. Don’t really understand though why the only steak choice is the rib eye to share at £54. Not strange. Nice location and warming atmosphere. Tad expensive for a pub though

User

They had 500 brands of Gin but NO Bacardi!!!!

And the Staff did not appear bothered or even have a Smile!!!!

User

Nice spot, good view, beautiful place to be on a sunny day. Food looked good but we weren't there to eat just to have a drink. The reason I gave it 3* is because we waited almost 30minutes to Be served....not enough staff.

User

It's a really lovely pub by the water, great gin choice however the waiter was incredibly rude unfortunately . I've worked in many pubs over the years and have never seen an attitude as bad as that ! But that is only one person and I'm sure the rest of the staff are lovely

User

I'd give no stars if I could

I'm really disappointed to have booked a table three weeks ago for 3.30pm today nd called this morning to check the time. On arrival I was told our table was for 3pm so the member of staff gave the wrong time and no table was available for us. We were then shown a table in the middle of the bar amongst really noisy drinkers. When asked if we could sit upstairs was told there was an unexpected group of 20 guys and it was loud upstairs. On checking the upstairs there were no other diners other than the big group, and there were empty tables on the mezzanine floor. I'd understand if told you were short staffed or had run out of food but we have been left with no choice but to find an alternative restaurant. I look forward to hearing from you.
