The brunch we had was okay. We ordered smoked salmon and poached egg on sourdough. It was tasty but the eggs were cold.

Great place to eat especially if you are a vegetarian, with a great choice of non meat dishes, to suit all appetites. As well as vegetarian food they also cater for meat eaters again with a great menu to choose from. Staff are friendly and not over bearing. Good artisan atmosphere with reasonable prices to boot.

We visited around 9pm on a Friday night just for coffee and cake. Despite having a lot of staff on it took what seemed like forever for our coffees to arrive but we had finished them before the cake did. In the end I went in search of our cake, which was already sliced so literally needed to be put on a plate, and the ladies answer to why it wasn't at our table was 'we are busy'. I said shall we just leave it then and her response 'okay'. Now the cakes are the most expensive I've ever seen so I would think cancelling 4 cakes would have bothered her but it didn't, in the slightest, but then she will get paid regardless. I'm sure the owners wouldn't have had the same attitude. The coffee was nice but small cups and expensive. I wouldn't bother going here again because the staffs attitude was that cr*p.

Been here twice. First time i had to go inside and ask if it was table service after sitting on an outside table for 10 mins with no acknowledgement, although 3 members of staff stood around chatting a to each other. Had a veggie breakfast which was ok. Second time the same thing happened but this time I just walked away after waiting 10 minutes. The location and the decor has all the signs of an Italian style cafe/restaurant but the difference in Italy is they serve you promptly or at least acknowledge your presence even if it's busy. This place is all style and no substance. Go to the Blackburn up the road, much better.
