Was much better before they updated everything.
Changing rooms/air temp always too cold. And kids pool time tables absolutely useless. They rent it out for too many different things, so that the sessions for public swim are about 50 minutes at a time. Also, they have a rubbish kids pool now, no features except some simple sprinklers. The old pool was much more interesting for kids.
We'd now rather travel to Leamington to swim. They're open all day and have a FANTASTIC kids pool with slides and jacuzzi etc. Worth the 20 minute journey.

Love this facility in the Town, cant beat a early morning swim. The gym is now my new home.

User

Can't fault the facility, massive problem with the gym turning in to a children's playground. Kids hanging of the equipment, taking up space talking where people want to be working out, misusing the equipment and being a general nuisance. This is a problem that needs sorting out.

Lovely inclusive gym catering for all abilities.

I tried to call but know one anwsed it is really disappointing.

As well as that I went twice in a week and they said sorry it is full when there was only about 20 people in the pool !

I went in to cancel my gym membership today and although I am two months in advance.. I was told I will not be getting a refund.. but can still use the gym for two months.. I told them that it doesn't suit me but it made no difference.. I will not be getting any refund.. be aware of this if you join.. you will still have two months membership whether you want it or not when you cancel your membership.
I would like to post no star rating but it won't allow this p.s. I have posted my experience public on face book where it will get re-posted on a weekly basis until something is resolved,

At 9pm during off peak times, i go to swim. To find queues in the swimming pool for the next person to do 1 lap. This is pathetic. The only reason i have a membership is so that i can swim in comfort without people swimming at my feet. But no matter when you go, you will either have kids screaming their heads off or people trying to grab your ankles.

I found the staff very helpful! Any questions or issues i had, they tried to help. I go at off peak times, so no kids running around and loads of parking.

Dont try and swim at 4 on a Sunday afternoon, there was 10 people in the pool and fully booked

I took my 7 year old niece swimming at the Jubilee Centre on a Friday night there was a que of about 5 kids all keen to go swimming but not allowed in till exactly 6.05pm.This meant that we were forced to wait a 1/4 of an hour to get in to the pool, when we did my niece had to swim in the adults lane because over 3/4 of the pool seemed to be being used by about half a dozen people on swimming lessons .The high wall at the end of the pool makes it very intimidating for younger children or people learning to swim as they cannot get out of the pool or hold on to the side easily. The lifeguard shouted at a child for holding the lane rope to take a rest which I found unacceptable.I feel that the sport centre should be encouraging young people to positively participate in swimming and there should always be spare space for children keen to learn and enjoy themselves at anytime.
