Well done to Ross and Kate making the queens such a successful eating and drinking establishment. Had a queens breakfast this morning. Easily the best breakfast in the area. Then later returned for a sunset refreshment with excellent service from the bar manager Simon.

Highly recommended place to visit.

User

This is our first visit. Family visiting fancied staying for tea. So we went to the Queen’s last minute. There was a large group of us and they accommodated us on a large table that was reserved for later in the evening, at no point were we rushed. The staff were amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful. Everyone’s food looked and tasted absolutely delish. Love that its dog friendly and absolutely adored the whole feel of the place. We will bringing all our family and friends here when they come over xx

User

This is my favourite place to come with my dogs in Lytham.

Staff are so very friendly and make your visit so special.

The food is always amazing and we have never had a bad meal. Wine also really good and reasonably priced.

Love it.

Thanks John and Tony and Millie and Toby ( dogs )

User

There were 5 of us.. we all enjoyed our meals very much and would 100% return next time we are in the area. Portion sizes were good to, I was worried after one of the other reviews moaned about the size of the fish pie.. my mum chose the fish pie, the size was normal and she was full to the brim once finished and she said it was really good. It worked out to about £24 per person, we all had a starter and a main and a gin balloon so reasonably priced too.

User

The food and service is always excellent in here, we came in to try the breakfast menu the other day which was delicious and our waitress Laura couldn't do enough for us!

User

Thank you so much for a wonderful day yesterday . The private dining room was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday with my family and friends ... and great that the doggies could enjoy the celebrations too !

The food was all lovely, and the staff were amazing .

User

My favourite pub in Lytham and with the bonus that it’s dog friendly! The food is very good and we love the new breakfast menu. The recent renovations to the seating area at the back are a big improvement and also the lovely function room upstairs. Ross and his team are doing a great job!

User

I won a Sunday roast and cocktails for two, and it was amazing. The food you can't fault and the service was brilliant. The staff are all lovely and friendly too. Would highly recommend paying a visit to The Queens in Lytham. I will be definitely going back sometime in the near future 😊

User

I recently visited The Queens hotel with my wife and wow what can I say? Well first of all I was greeted by a lovely smiley lady with red hair (I assume she was the owner?) and was told there wasn't going to be a table available for about ten minutes which was fine as we waited at the bar to find a great selection of beers. (Old peculiar my favourite!). My wife took a small glass of Sauvignon blanc as she was driving. The bar staff were incredible. Talkative and cheery. When we sat down for our meal the waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered the mussels to start and my wife had the Korean chicken. Both were absolutely gorgeous. I know my seafood and have eaten it all around the world and those mussels are genuinely the best I've had. For mains I had the ham and chicken pie - splendid, the chips were home made, and the missus had salmon salad, which again was superb.

In conclusion, friendly staff, great food and a nice homely feel.

5 * will definitely be revisiting.

User

I often attend here for either a few drinks, the delicious food or both as it is really great value. The atmosphere is really pleasant, and the service is exceptional. One employee in particular named Simon, always makes my experience there even better with his tremendous service, and his whimsical banter. 5/5!

User

Had to be in to the shop early as it was Lytham Club Day. So all piled into the Queens for breakfast . Have to say it was excellent. Food fabulous. One had Eggs Benedict, three had the advocado with poached eggs on toast. Hot, tasty and filling. Great value for money. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Good start to the day.Fabulous staff too. Would highly recommend it!

User

Class place to eat and drink. Ross is a humble attentive host with a genuine love for his guests. 10/10 will definitely be returning.

User

Came over to Lytham for a walk to stretch the legs. Asked for a soda water in The Queen’s and was amazed that it was free as well as being presented beautifully full of fruit, ice and mint! Refreshing to find a pub that doesn’t rip you off for soft drinks these days! Excellent! x

User

Poor service. Table booked at 14.30 ordered very quickly but food didn’t come till gone 15.30, also ordered sausages for our two dogs they didn’t come till way after 4. Got told off for one of our dogs barking although the pub is heavily advertised as dog friendly.

User

Over £20 for a bottle of wine you can find in Aldi for less than a tenner? Two pints and a coke clocking in at £12? It's not exactly the greatest pub in the universe and the dogs they allow in piss all over the floor. The County is a thousand times better and the prices reasonable. I'll never visit The Queen's again.

User

My review follows on from the one left by my friend Tony Higginson who left a one star review below. We both, with another friend of ours visited The Queens Hotel last night. I had not eaten here before but it came well recommended by Tony as he had enjoyed a lovely meal a few weeks before. I ordered the fish pie and when it arrived in a very small oval dish complete with a very small amount of green veg, I asked the waitress if there was more to arrive. I was informed that's all there was. To say that I was disappointed is an understatement even when I complained to the waiter post meal that for the money, it was woeful, both in taste and portion size, no attempt was made to address my displeasure. The original waitress even forgot to bring out cutlery once the meal had arrived and after waiting a couple of minutes, I had to ask for some for all three of us. Not great service, food very average and portion size a joke really. As such, I shall not be visiting again. The dining industry is awash with superb pubs and gastropubs, sadly this appears not to be one of them.

User

Second visit where we ordered food.. nice place for a drink, staff pleasent but food very poor for the price.. £8.50 for a coffee and bacon&egg bun, what i got was poor and overpriced and after asking for another egg due to the first being inedible due to over frying, i received yet another over fried and oily mess on a side plate.. really no need for so much oil, the bun was soaked and the contents litteraly swimming.. awful!

User

Ordered pate.

Tiny bit of bread. Not sure where they expected you to use the pate, chutney and 3 cubes of butter. My butter also had hair in it.

Pale ale was warm ( no wonder why the Aussies say poms drink warm beer )

Prices I can't really compare I don't live in England but the wine prices looked far too expensive for what they were.

Others want to take me here again but think il pass!

User

Not at all accomodating for people with disabilities or the elderly.

staff rude food ok nothing you could not make yourself expensive for what it is would not recommend this establishment
