The Railway

Having known these guys from their previous venue me and my wife purposfully went to try their carvery today and i can honestly say it far exceeds any i have had before highly recomnend the railway to anyone thanks guys for a great meal x

Finally the Railway has changed to excellent home cooked food with superb presentation, pleasant & helpful smiling staff. Definitely worth visiting for lunch / evening meal.. Spacious & homely surrounds

Really friendly atmosphere. Comfortable place for three generations of my family (aged from 2 to 66). We got sausage & mash, stroganoff, steak & ale pie and ham & eggs. Everything was delicious. My dad and I got complimentary desserts as we were there on father's day. Also delicious. Very well done, keep it up.

Changing hands recently hasn't been a problem for this pub. The new landlords are doing a very good job.

Nice atmosphere, an above average selection of beers (not the best in the area but not the worst either) and above average pub food. A nice relaxed family friendly atmosphere during the day.

Will definitely be coming here again.
