The Railway Inn

First visit and will definitely be going back. Owners and locals are very friendly. Food was delicious with a good selection.

A recent 2 night stay left us disappointed. We thought this would have been a perfect choice for a break but unfortunately the exceptional low level of cleanliness in the shower block and unfriendly (even rude on occasion)customer service from the owners soon changed our opinion. Sorry would neither recommend nor return

AMAZING food, an excellent campsite and a good real ale choice in a dog friendly pub. I love this place!

Just had 9 days at the Railway. Our 2nd visit. Ate there twice, both times great. Spacious pitches. Yes, shower block is dated but showers were hot and clean. Rachel and Helen were lovely, as was the bar staff. The railway nearby didn't,t bother us, in fact I went to watch the express go through, wow, do they shift.
The site is really handy for visiting the area. No complaints. Would go again. John.

Good lovely, The owner's very thoughtful and friendly. Lovely cottage, well equipped. Has comfy chairs, really nice to look out into the garden with birds and trees
