Today was the last of Christmas meals.....we did it...great Team effort...huge Thank You to EVERYONE....Cameron & Keith you excelled yourselves...Boys & Girls behind the bar...the beautiful lasses waiting on tables....boys & girls behind the scenes...never forgetting Rachel Wilson who clears up behind everyone....bring on Xmas Eve....Merry Christmas !!!

Would highly highly recommend any one to come here to drink and to eat. The food is so yummy every time. Love it

Went with family last night & was really impressed with food & service, especially as the place was heaving at 6.30 the young lady who served us was friendly efficient & worked her socks off all night even though she was rushed off her feet, she did everything with a smile on her face & is a credit to RT. Would highly recommend paying them a visit.�

We had quick service with friendly staff who looked after us and adapted the meal choices for us, and catered for our coeliacs who dined with us very well, will be eating in here again, the sooner the better �

Thank you very much for letting us have an area of The Tavern for our Christmas family get together, it was just a perfect atmosphere and great food to snack on, we will hopefully do it again! 🍷🍸🍻🎉

I don't know where to start!.... thank you so so much Railway Tavern for hosting our wedding reception! With out going into too much detail the last few months have been so hard for us! But Tracey personally has helped take the stress of our big day away and for that I can't thank her enough!

We knew our day was going to be emotional In so many ways but Tracey and her team took the stress of the reception away and went over and beyond what we expected! The pub looked amazing! The food excelled! And all staff where helpful friendly and worked their butts off!

Finley-George would like to say a big thank you for the sweet cart in his words "exciting" "more sweets please!" On behalf of my husband and I thank you so so so so much Tracey,

Great hosts, great beer, good food and good company and to top it all frequent music events!

Food always good. Lovely atmosphere, helpful staff. Decent selection of beers. Well managed would highly recommend everyone trying this place and leaving me a half of I.P.A behind the bar 😉

Food always brilliant, service always 1st class, staff & landlady always makes the extra effort to welcome you & make you feel at home here. Eat here regularly & have recommended to friends & family who also love to eat & drink here. Regular events on throughout year that are always fun. Xx

Fantastic local pub what is the heart of the Community! Some where to bring the whole family with excellent food and drinks! Brilliant live music nights that can't be missed with great people both sides of the bar. A real gem of a pub

Fantastic local pub in the heart of the community with a great atmosphere and very friendly, welcoming managers who are always up for a laugh. Brilliant drink and lovely, reasonably priced food.

Brilliant friendly pub, I don’t go in often but make a new friend every time I do! Food is great and staff and landlord and landlady are always accommodating 👍🏻😄

Shame we picked football night. One of our party was diabetic one was gluton and dairy intolerant not hard to supply something from a normal store cupboard. Two salmon mains should have had spinach came with cabbage and carrots would have been nice if we were asked instead of saying when put infront of us.

We didn't enjoy our meal because the food took a long time to arrive and the young lady behind the bar was rude and had no idea how to treat customers. Had she explained the situation we would have accepted it but, her attitude was dreadful.

Great atmosphere but shame the unbelievably rude manageress when I decided to complain about my chicken that was served. It was like a slop bucket of rejected chicken at a factory. She told me if I wished to return to make sure I ask for the white breasted

Chicken with my roast?? Ha ha! .... safe to say I won't be needing to have that conversation.
