Losing someone you love as we all know is very very painful ❤ How we grieve is very different and unique as individuals. (Dave Louis Webb) one of our local customers and good friend has recently lost his mum and has asked us to provide a party to celebrate her life. So I have managed to find a band called (SKIN & BONES) from Oxford.These very talented guys will play every kind of music to suit all tastes and love to party too. Join us on Friday 29th march 9-11 followed by a superb disco (LONG SHOT SOUNDS) playing on (VINYL) and a huge following. Check them out on F.book/Youtube. Dave has contributed too for this occasion. What a cracking evening. Tom you are a absolute star 💫 and life and soul of the party. You and your parents worked so hard for your Red nose event. Credit to you 👏 Tom has raised £200 plus throughout the evening. Tom,s mum had presented a lovely spread, her home made cakes,pies and savoury selection too. We all had a lovely time 😀 Thank you all for donating for red nose day. The grand Total will be announced during the week ☺

Heath Fields PTA are building an eco greenhouse and need your help to collect 2L plastic bottles. They have a collection point here at the Railway Tavern and the co op in Hatton for your empty clean and not squashed 2L plastic bottles. ( The tops are not needed ) 😀

The tavern is one of the better pubs in village all the locals are great and the past 5 or 6 landlord and landlady have been very friendly and thats what makes a pub good, quiz night on weds is a laugh and cheese port and darts once a month on thurs are fab roll on more fun x

Thanks for letting us have Jasmine’s 7th birthday party at the pub today, she loved it!! Didn’t get home till midnight but she’s one happy spotty dog!!! X

Great local pub friendly atmosphere and Best pint of pedigree and Carling around for miles. Landlord and landlady really make you feel welcome and some great entertainment on occasions.
