We’re getting a lot of public, press and trade questions about THE RAILWORKS, where it is, when it’ll be ready…. and a lot of questions about the private dining and function spaces.
Here’s some more details:
It’s central Brighton, down from Brighton Railway Station, above the North Laine and behind London Road.
It’s a 9 month build and will be ready mid 2016 depending on weather, access and unforeseen stuff…. We’ve all seen Grand Designs right?
It will be very different to our other places, but continuing our common theme; food, luxury and privacy. Think a boutique hotel, exclusive private members club and private dining as one package… with an important feature… no other guests. Private means private. You can rent the whole building for the week or weekend and you select from our portfolio of (Michelin starred, street food, other) chefs and utilise each of the 3 social space floors for your conference, wedding or celebration and you get the whole space to yourself. No other guests, just the on site concierge service and staff for each of the functions that you require. Leaving you with a large (very large) boutique hotel and private events spaces for your family celebration or function.
Check in for your mid week conference and live, work, sleep and eat under one roof for your entire stay. Be inspired with your conference in the top floor ‘Loft’ event space, expanses of 100 year old Victorian wood beams, flooded with light and air. That’ll be the 7m terraces and low profile glass doors. This isn’t a grey, non-descript, non-windowed hotel box. Be inspired, not imprisoned.
Or if it’s your wedding, then it’s really special. Check in Friday, leave Monday with none of the normal hotel hassle or marquee mayhem. No other guests, no reception, no queues, no marquee weather trauma and no stress. Walk through the front door into an entire floor for the family, kids and friends to hang out and chill out.
