Wow, what an amazing breakfast we had. Lady that served us was lovely, and the breakfast tasted and looked beautiful. Out first time here for breakfast and will definitely be coming again

Was our first time visiting The Ram Inn, as arranged to meet up with a good friend while I was in the area. Had previously browsed menu online b4 choosing to meet here, great choice and reasonable prices too. Wasn't disappointed, both our meals were cooked to perfection and very tasty. Couldn't resist the ice cream sundaes either...not too over welming. Having signed up to the website we received a £5 voucher off our food too, so an added bonus. The gentlemen behind the bar appeared to be on his own but managed very well and was friendly and helpful. Would definitely consider returning if we r in the area again.

Visted here on Sunday 11/12/16 with my daughter and her boyfriend. I ordered the roast beef sunday roast. Wasn't expecting the plate to be as full as it was. Really enjoyed it. Nice clean pub. Friendly staff. Had a really enjoyable time and shall visit next time I'm over. X

Took our son to the Halloween party. Very well organised and the staff did a great job and kept the kids entertained throughout. Staff very friendly was well worth the money. Well done ladies. Looking forward to the kiddies Xmas party.

User

Shoutout to Jordan & Cheryl staff at the ram who did an amazing job with the Halloween party!! & all the mums who helped out! Plenty of activities to do for all age ranges, great gifts, plenty of laughs, great buffet full of treats & also great hot meal for kids & drinks! Well worth £3 a ticket! Best kids Halloween's party around by far! Absolute laugh watching all the kids get involved in the party games like apple bobbing, pass the parcel & who can wrap a child from each group in tissue like a mummy the quickest 😂👌🏻

Really enjoy coming to this pub, my boyfriend frequently has appointments at Nottingham city hospital and we always stop off for a bite to eat on our way home, however today i received a parking ticket for parking in the car park, anyone else experienced this?? Quite upsetting as i dont understand what it is ive done wrong! Waiting for my boyfriend to get a message back from this page as he has messaged them about it, any help or feed back would be greatly appreciated x

Only go here when I visit my disabled sister in Nottingham. On my recent visit food excellent, staff amazing and friendly, and understood my welsh accent . However I did receive a parking fine in the post .

Been twice this week first with hubby food good as always came out piping hot then with my friend and granddaughter didn't take long from ordering to being served never had a bad meal staff always polite

User

I must of came on a good night reading from the last few comments. Very good service to say we was in a party of 10. I really enjoyed what I ordered and dirty plates was cleared promptly, unlike another local pub we ate in the dirty plates was still on our table when our deserts came out.

User

The staff polite , service ok but the chicken was bone dry no cutlery . And they loaded my wife's dinner with salad. So beware diners if you have the duck salad it looks big but underneath is a huge salad and not a lot of anything else . TIP. Avoid anything with salad.

Been here twice in the past month. After the first visit i'd have given it 5* as the food was amazing. However, i went in yesterday and the food was well below satisfactory. I had the Tennessee steak and asked for it medium-rare. It was VERY well done! Completely brown all the way through and cremated on the outside. Chips and onion rings were also very over done and was like eating rocks. I'd understand if they were busy and had accidently left things cooking for slightly longer than intended but the place was very quiet. Did make bar staff aware and they gave us some money off the meal. I will however go again because the first time we went was great and it's a lovely pub with nice atmosphere

User

Not impressed. Have been here before and it was ok. No Sunday dinners left (it was only 4pm) then they said they had a couple but no roast potatoes (which by the way were advertised on the menu as aunt Bessie's or McCain rather than proper home made ones) offered chips instead! Chose something else. To be fair the food arrived quickly and was average. Cheap though so I guess you get what you pay for. Not sure why my scampi had barbecue sauce on it! Looked like they'd dropped it in someone else's dinner and then popped it back on my plate. We ate and left. Won't be returning.

We came tonight for our dinner after school. We didn't have a friendly welcome. Although the pub wasnt busy the staff was sorting things out for Christmas and refilling salt and pepper pots etc. I asked if a table was reserved and the blonde staff member said yes with a reluctant "sorry" (no reserve sticker was on the table). No smiles from the staff at all, the blonde one said im going on my break and sat down with her knife and fork. My little girl smiled at her, she never smiled back so we made the decision to leave and find a friendlier pub to eat. Its a shame, we used to like the ram but we will never be back. Everyone gets stressed but a smile goes along way.
