We are the only company within the UK dedicated to making Thai Pie’s, we are proud of our pie’s and do our best to source ingredients from local suppliers.

The Real Thai Pie Company began at the beginning of 2012 and was formed by my wife and I. We have always loved to travel and met whilst traveling in 1998. Since then we have been regular visitors to Thailand, we love the culture and cuisine of this country. We have attended cooking courses whilst traveling, both formally and informally in the kitchens of Thai friends made along the way. If I could only eat one type of food for the rest of my life it would be Thai!

The Thai Pie eureka moment came after a delicious massaman curry shared with friends. We thought this hearty Asian stew would be fabulous in a pie. Why a Pie? Well key to the story is my family’s background. My parents have owned a bakery in Darwen Lancashire for 30 years, selling traditional and well-loved pies. We use my fathers tried and tested secret pastry recipe.

From the moment we placed our initial curry in pastry we were hooked on this unique fusion of east meets west. From here we started creating more variety and perfecting the Thai Pie.
