The Red Lion is the a great pub, Steve and Lucy made us and our little puppy very welcome. They do really good food and drink. We spend an evening here just this last weekend eating and drinking with the locals, thanks for having us, can't wait to return!!

Rustic, tidy and clean. After a day's walk this was all we needed. Good solid English pub meal, great little pub with more than adequate breakfast. Our host was efficient. Would recommend
They owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. The pub itself is extremely comfortably and welcoming. We arrived late at night and were greeted with a warm welcome, after which we had a couple of drinks in the bar. Breakfast was always enjoyable and they catered to our requests. The food served is great value for money and I would recommend the lamb. I would happily stay here again on another trip to the Lake District.
Excellent food, really warm reception from the local patrons and staff. I wouldn't hesitate to go again! I really recommend the sausage and mash! Wonderful!

Friendly local pub, just where we wanted to be. Extremely clean accomodation, hearty meal portions and a huge breakfast.
An amazing little B&B . We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived until we left. The breakfast was spot on, really did enjoy our stay we will be stopping again.
