Fabulous little pub. Excellent food. Friendly Staff. Just about to be taken over by (grapevine says) The Potting Shed (Management) Beverley. Watch this space.

Don't be deceived by the outside the rooms are clean and beds okay, food is great freshly cooked at night and are very good, breakfast is freshly cooked which again is brilliant. You would pay a lot more in some pubs/ hotels and it not be as good.

terrible place if you want to stay over night or in my case 2 nights. I went here with my baby and partner to visit relatives.I was not impressed to have a live band underneath my room playing till nearly midnight with my baby and ourselves trying to get some rest after a busy day with the family. was not impressed nor was we informed of this otherwise we would not have booked especially having a baby trying to get some rest. very unhappy with the noise and the room. seems to me you either have 1 or the other a live band playing venue or a b and b the both do not work well together obviously someone does not care or think things threw or it's just greed. Anyway very bad place to stay if you like sleep and defiantly not good for kids. would have been nice to be told they had a live band playing as they knew before we booked we had a baby. just seems very grab your money kind of a place.

Visiting Driffield and was able to reserve a table just before the kitchen closed. Friendly pub. Table service was good the menu the usual pub food. Food served promptly. Food was pretty good and the overall bill very reasonable.

Simply superb accommodation, welcome and staff. Surprisingly impressive food, top notch homely food at incredibly impressive prices. I was considering moving to Driffield and spent a couple of nights staying here to get a feel for the town. I moved here.

The food in The Red Lion is incredible and is always server nice and warm. However service isn't always good. For example it can take plus of an hour to receive your food.

Great location, good parking and very friendly staff. Amazing value for both rooms and meals and the breakfast will set you up for the day. Highly recommended.
