About The Reusers

The ReUsers is a Social Enterprise delivered by the Jericho Foundation (Charity No. 1037084). We divert reusable items and materials from entering the waste stream and resell them to raise funds to support our beneficiaries needs.
The Reusers Description
Imagine if ebay was an actual (not virtual) shop. Then imagine this shop looks like a cross between Steptoe's Yard and The Borrowers' living room, with Wombles as staff set inside Aladdin's Cave. Imagine this shop has actual stock to see, touch, measure and negotiate on. Then imagine that this stock was consciously donated to us by members of the public who preferred to give it a future, rather than send it to landfill. Then imagine that you could own some of it for a very fair price and have helped somebody back into meaningful long-term employment too. You might not quite know what you are shopping for when you enter but you'll see it makes sense by the time you leave. What we stock today will have changed by tomorrow but here is a flavour of what you might expect. . .

More ‘Urban Thrift’ than ‘Designer Gift

The ReUsers will be closed from 12pm on Tuesday 16th October to allow our staff to attend a celebratory event to mark 25 years of The Jericho Foundation. We will reopen at 8am on Wednesday 17th Oct.

Just like to say a huge thank you to Cllr Majid Mahmood (cabinet member for clean streets, waste &recycling) for his support yesterday at the launch of our new extended furniture warehouse. Great to know that ReUers and our parent charity 'The Jericho Foundation' have the full support of the City. Together we aim to further decrease the cities landfill output, develop reuse focused enterprises throughout the City and provide many more opportunities for our beneficiaries on their journey to become skilled, fulfilled and employed. We've been clearing out our sons's old bedroom and donated lots of things, in good condition. I'd much rather donate here than just throw things away. So handy too when we have been getting rid of the junk he left too lol. Staff very friendly and next time I need something I'm coming here to look first, great items!
Was sent here by a friend as I was looking for a chest of draws, found the perfect one, solid wood for a really good price. The staff were brilliant and really helpful. Didn't have time to have a proper look around as I was in a rush but I'll definitely be returning.
This project is an inspiration not only for its benifits to the environment but for the job opportunities and life skills it teaches. You can get some great stuff dead cheep too!

My first visit today and certainly won't be my last. I wish aston/witton tip had one of these centres too. I grabbed some bargains today which i've already sanded and painted. Can't wait for my next visit. Keep up the great work youre doing in help saving our environment from more landfill
Lovely place. Can find some excellent bargains, some things are priced higher than a new item though, great social enterprise helping young people into work.

I had my first trip here today - purchased a dinning table and two chairs for under £30 ! Bargain. Best part about this place apart from the fact it's literally an alladins cave of awesome stuff, is the great staff really helpful friendly and i cant wait to go again. Brilliant place.

Great place, if its a bargain you after. The place has good prices, friendly staff and wonderful items. I go at least once a week, it like a bug, I cant help myself as, there so many different things to choose from. I go in with one idea and come out with something completely different. I've purchased so many different items' that have made great statement features to my house.
Great place to grab a bargin, from wood for d.I.y to toys that need a new home.it also has a great bike shop at the back , never know what you going to find here some strange and some memory recallers .furniture,pictures,electrics which are all checked x gym equipment,golf clubs,roller skates staff are friendly and helpful too GREAT PLACE

Absolutely shocked at how much prices have gone up! £45 for a small set of scratched pine draws?? £7 for a filthy scratched modern jewellery box!? Won't be visiting again and I used to go atleast once a week last year! Your staff need to get a grip on prices!!!! I saw so many things today that had be purchased originally from a pound shop and were £3 or more!! Used to be a great shop and I'd always spend a fortune and come home with loads, rather walk round the carboots at least you still get a bargain there!! Never again
