The reaction of guests after the refurbishment early this year never fails to induce a smile. Gone is the pool table and darts board: the rickety furniture and sticky floor. Replacing it is opulence and splendour. A mix of fine pub food, top quality service, warm and inviting decor and a great range of drinks!

Our products are wide ranging from premium lagers and superbly cared-for ales, to classic spirits and a world of wines all at highly competitive prices!

The food offering is classic pub food, with some exciting twists. There are daily specials including the succulent favourite minted lamb shank. There are hand-made gourmet burgers produced on the premises, hand battered haddock and chips, warm duck salad and beef in chianti with winter veg. All this and so much more cooked and prepared by our experienced team of chefs and served by our friendly front of house team.
