we had a group booking and the staff were amazing. incredibly attentive and the food (and cocktails) was brilliant. this place is very much underestimated as it's a bit out of the centre of town.

i couldn't rate it over 5* which is disappointing, a defo go to for drinks and food with friends. I've been here for food with family also and it's brill!

service was Great.

the Sunday roast was Brilliant. you have to try it.

and the sunday roast share well your have to try for yourself.

We came for my husbands birthday for the first time on saturday, and i can not recommend it enough!

super friendly and helpful staff, very reasonably priced and the food was delicious!!

the kids meals were huge, as were ours! we’ll definitely be returning!

Their roast today was amazing. Service took a while but they were busy, however the staff was so apologetic about it and gave us extra when they run out of Yorkshires and Cauli Cheese. Had the waffle dessert which really complimented the meal. Even their cappuccino was great!!! 5+*!

Really impressed with the food, we had a selection of steaks, brisket, burgers and ribs between us and we all enjoyed our meals - all really tasty, hot, well presented and good portion sizes. A nice relaxed atmosphere, great for our family - not sure we’d eat here as a couple but we will definitely be back as a family or with a group of friends

Organised a surprise birthday meal for my husband with the family on our trip over from Cyprus. The staff were incredible from start to finish and so accommodating. The food was spot on too! Highly recommended �����

I’ve been to the ridge a quite a few times and every time the food has been amazing and the service incredible. My partner and I tried the take out for the first time tonight and although my hotdog came with the wrong toppings it was lovely, and in the future I think I’ll be having that hotdog instead. The food was ready quickly and still hot by the time I got home; we can’t wait to use the service more so we can have our favourite dishes from the comfort of our home.

I've been here many times now including all of the bank holiday events they have arranged and every single time has been absolutely incredible and I've loved every moment. Food and cocktails are amazing and so reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly and can enjoy a laugh with them also. Definitely recommend and it's so nice to have something like this so close to home. Owners have done themselves proud and I hope they are here to stay for the long run as I love coming here :) Keep up the amazing work everyone and see ya next time. Hope there are more events to come like the bank holiday ones you've done so far as well ��

I came here today for my daughters birthday party and couldn’t of asked for more the staff are so polite and friendly, they brought out my daughters cake and all sang and cheered to her she felt so special and had an amazing time thank you so much, I’ve been here quite a few times in the last few months and am always happy with the service. Had an amazing Roast feast at The Ridge. Was tempted to try after seeing pics online and wanted a new venue to try a Sunday roast. It didn't disappoint.



Was called before our reservation and advised there was no beef or pork left but staff and kitchen sorted us out with alternative meat to go alongside the chicken.



Size wise, it was adequate for myself and my partner (both lovers of food!�) with spare to take home (for the dog�)





Service was great, Nathan our waiter, was lovely! A big � to all at The Ridge for a lush Sunday afternoon. And the cocktails were � too

Great evening spent with my friend for dinner and cocktails on Sunday evening of bank holiday weekend. It was very busy but a great atmosphere. Excellent service and friendly staff. Tasty food. A great night. Highly recommend.

Called this morning to book a table for my daughter's birthday for tonight but upon arrival was told there was no record of any booking so had a dissapointed daughter and friends initially but credit to the manager who went out of his way to fit us in and looked after us all and are sure our food came out as quickly as possible due to the initial delay so thanks so much for turning around a dissapointed daughter to a very happy one and Dad too. Food was great as was the service.

Visited the Ridge for the 1st time yesterday after a game of tenpin bowling. Was mid afternoon and reasonably quiet upon entering along with my partner, teenage daughter, 10 year old son and his friend. Shown to a table immediately, staff very friendly and polite. Food was ordered along with drinks, kids very impressed with the milkshakes. Food was served in quick time, plenty on the plates and tasty too. All in all a very enjoyable afternoon at an affordable price. Would recommend a visit if you haven't tried it out yet.

I really like this place. Extremely convenient location for me and I like the style of food. I Visited for my first time today, 2 for 1 cocktails are awesome and were delicious! Food was fabulous, great quantity for a great price and very tasty, I really couldn't fault it. Staff were very friendly and tentative, positive vibes from all who worked there. However the decor is a little dated, it's mainly the dark wood and floors, I think for the fantastic service and food it provides, given a little make over to brighten and modernise the place I would then happily give a 5*+. I will definitely come again and would recommend ��.

Had a great buffet today for a group of youngsters from Great Western Youth Band. Food was freshly made and replenished as needed. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Although we did have a miscommunication when booking, everything was sorted out and made right and can't fault the service on the day. Thank you to Scott and his team.

Visited on Sunday 4th March. I didn't receive what I ordered but decided against complaining as it was very busy and I didnt want to wait any longer for food as I was hungry. Staff also looked rushed off their feet and I didn't want to add to their workload. The food we did recieve however was very nice. It was very noisy in the restaurant but overall it was a nice place to eat and we would probably visit again. Also there was not enough colouring pencils for our son, its a bit disappointing for a 5 year old to be given a colouring sheet but no pencils �

First time here n looked nice from the outside. Got seated straight away at a rickety table n one of the chairs was so wobbly I’m glad I didn’t sit on it as I’d end up on the floor. Ordered in good time n people who came in n ordered after us were getting served first. Drinks were half ice n small. We all had 2 courses n I was the only one to have pudding - ice cream. It came in a small glass n was half filled with chocolate sauce. Too sweet to finish. Thought I’d treat the kids for their birthday but one couldn’t wait to leave. Don’t think we’ll be going again soon

Came for pre bowling drinks. Two for One on Cocktails always a bonus but felt the cocktails were a bit disappointing. I had the Strawberry Daiquiri, which is my fav drink and one I have tried all over the world. Would be better if they used real strawberries, crushed ice etc instead of what felt like a cheapo version I could've picked up from Asda. Also better in a taller glass. Id pay more for it if it was better quality. Take note of 1801 in town. Their cocktails are the best. Other than that a pleasant environment and friendly staff

Went today in the afternoon had been before and it was really good but very dissapointed ,service was first rate but food let it down ordered a cheese burger the burger had so much grizzle in it i couldnt eat it very dry as well and the chips had bad bits all over them ,milkshake was very nice but very pricey for a milkshake ,
