Old and in need for refurbishment. Not bad for the very cheap price, but for some films it is better to be seen at a proper cinema.

Very relaxed atmosphere, cheap and cheerful. Perfect to take the kids.

Quirky little cinema. Day out to see two films with children. It is small, it is a bargain, it has lots of space between rows of seats.

Love this place. Quaint and cheap. 2 tickets with popcorn and sweets for around £10

Really comfy seats. Old fashion with no gimmick. And really reasonable prices for tickets and snacks....

Love the Rio you sit on leather sofas and for a family of 4 with sweets and drinks you can get in for £20 that's the price of 1 ticket at other cinemas I would highly recommend this place

I like this cinema but the staff are very rude,I went with my grandmother and it was all going well,we had just been shopping and she had some bread and other bits like that but no sweets or anything along those lines.we was in there and the lady at the door immediately pointed out the bag and the man,who I think might be the owner, was trying to get into the bag.which obviously she refused and said that it was unnecessary and it was invasion of privacy he started shouting at her making her very angry yet scared.BAD SERVICE.

Also I was once in there and a young girl was running back and forth on the ramp and people complained.nothing was done. However,a young lady was checking her phone to check the time this was don't very carefull and still inside the pocket of her jumper but he comes in with his blinding light and shouts to turn it off.this is not right

Also don't go if you liked your films to be interrupted by fizzy and jumping, don't run a cinema if you can't

Great little local cinema. Was able to get 2 tickets, 2 popcorn and 2 drinks for less that £10! Well worth going to.

I have been going to this cinema for a couple of years now and it has been great apart from the last time I went to see a movie with my boyfriend and my really close friends. After we paid we started to go in to 'studio' and the very rude woman standing at the door wanted to search the pockets of my coat. My best friend and her niece were coming round my house straight afterward to stay over for the night and therefore they had their over night bags. The owner was extremely rude and demanded that they show him the contents of their bags. I and especially my friends found this very rude as this is a breach of privacy! My best friend said that she wouldn't let him see inside her bag as she had some personal stuff in there. The man threatened to ban her from the cinema and then took her bag off of her back without permission! He then searched her bag and found one packet of special sweets that she has because she has an allergy to some of the sweets that you buy in the cinema. He was extremely rude to her and started yelling at her and she was very scared.

To make matters worse whilst we were in the cinema, her and her niece were talking so quietly (even I couldn't hear them and they were sitting right next to them) and they got one complaint from someone and surprise surprise the man came storming down to the front and yelled at them. Um the fact is that he shouted at them to stay quiet. HE SHOUTED AT THEM TO STAY QUIET. He then moved them and my best friend and she couldn't see where she was sat and she was trying to get her glasses out of her bag whilst using her phone to see into her bag and the grumpy man came and told her off FOR THE THIRD TIME. Bad service. Didn't even have a proper apology.
