Stayed here with my wife for a break on our minimoon, service was fantastic, food was tasty and room was very comfortable.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Our room was beautifully decorated with a wonderful view of the sea. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.
This is a good pub. The staff are pleasant and efficient, there is a great selection of real ales and the menu, whilst not huge, has some excellent dishes. By far the best pub in Lynmouth. If you want to eat here, you either need to book a table or make sure you’re sat at a table before 6pm when service starts.
We loved this place!! The room we stayed in was quaint and overlooked the harbour. The evening meal experience was truly a delight, the best food we've experienced for many years, well done chef!! The staff were so attentive too. The pub really acted as a magnet for many passers by and locals alike which gave the whole place a real buzz into the late evening. My wife and I would like to congratulate and thank The Rising Sun and it's team for giving us such a wonderful time! They even supplied us with lovely weather.........ok they're clever but maybe not that clever!! We would have no hesitation on a return some day. Many thanks.

Lovely cosy place, seems a little expensive at first, but when you see the food... ...my god. Totally worth it. Give it a go if you're down there. Plus, it's dog friendly, always a bonus.
Great location, right by the harbour in Lynmouth, and beautiful old building. Good selection of local beers, and the Sunday roast was astonishing. Massive portions, but also superb quality, and a decent price. Very highly recommended, although get there early and book, as it got really busy and we gave up on dessert after a 30-minute wait.
