The Rising Sun is now one of the most popular pubs in Winchester and is most famous for it's live DJ's and weekend night-life.
Over the past 3 years we have grown to become one great big family, and we welcome everyone and anyone to come and be a part of what we believe to be the biggest extended family in town. All customers from all walks of life and of all ages are welcomed with open arms.
We are proud to boast some of the cheapest drink prices in town whilst maintaining the highest standards.

What an absolute crackin venue, Myself and 2 fellow DJ's hosted "One Foot in the Rave" and the atmosphere was great. Exceptionally good Drinks prices and deals,and all the regulars and staff were so accommodating and friendly,this really is the best place to go to in Winchester. The Riser on a weekend brings "The Club to the Pub!"

Rising sun is a great place to go everytime I'm there I have a great time talking and mingling with the locals drum and bass nights are also a highlight in my time at the rising sun

Real rough and ready pub, with real down to earth people, no posh people here! Great prices and sun trap garden (albeit not the prettiest around). Love the place and the people!
Quality pub, always playing good music, nice bunch of locals, staff always happy and friendly.
Never been to a friendlier pub, the bar staff are amazing and the customers are lovely. Had a blinding night last night @ Total destruction. Looking forward to the next event xx

The Rising sun was my local and my family for over 40 years sad to say when Alfie and Liz left they were sadly missed.But now Rob is doing a good job to bring it back to life.Doing the toilets make over which have been negleted for a coyple of years.Big plus you can get a pint for 2 quid in there and a friendly smile from the staff.x
