User

This is aimed at the 3 pretentious pricks drinking Guinness in the pub last night call yourselves solicitors What you would do to the female member of staff, homophobic remarks about my barman who is only doing this job to help with is studies, remarks about my Grandson who is only 17 now I take that personally as insult on my family looking forward to meeting you Arse holes in the near future.

User

We called in for a quick lunch and it was lovely. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff couldn't have done more and where very friendly. Would definitely visit again.

User

This was a strange little pub from the outside but a bit like the tardis. Great beer.

The Rising Sun is a little gem right in the heart of the city.

Amongst all the style bars, restaurants and Cafe culture The Rising Sun is a genuine traditional British pub

Full of great real ales great bar staff and genuine charm. If you happen to be passing pop in you’ll be glad you did.

User

Robyn is a delightful hostess. Great company and nothing but polite and kind. Bar staff are the reason we go in regularly. All top draw

User

Luv this pub, and barman very kindly carried drinks to our table (and tried to help me fix the dodgy heel on my boots )

User

Lovely barmaid Robyn great service and best ale around Ian was ok too highly recommend

User

Great pub. Friendly with good ale and not full of pretentious twats that you find in the so called trendy bars elsewhere. It was busy when we visited but the bar staff are spot on and were taking my order before they had finished serving the previous punter.

User

User

Brilliant little pub, cosy with a great atmosphere and they serve amazing rhubarb gin with pink grapefruit tonic.

User

Always some fine cask ales on here when we visit manchester, a nice pub slightly hidden away down a side street, great for a few beers at Christmas when the christmas Markets are on and you want to avoid the large surge of crowds, good anytime of the year!

User

Absolutely love venue. Staff are really friendly and lovely to..

It's the best pint of fosters I've had as well you can tell the lines get cleaned.

Really enjoyable atmosphere to!!

User

A pub with 2 entrances... What an excuse to go there twice on the same pub walk... and with the quality and quantity of the ales on offer you would be forgiven for not wanting to venture any further. But in the interest of history and finishing the book Andrew and I managed to tear ourselves away. Another definite for our book... Manchester Pubs - The Stories Behind The Doors - City Centre

User

A great old pub that has been superbly decorated inside and serve a selection of fantastic real ales. First Class
