Went in sat for first meal since Sophie has taken over, its much the same as before. Great food, great atmosphere, friendly. Cannot fault it, also they’ve added to the range of drinks which is another thumbs up . Will be back for definite. 5/5

We ate at the Rising sun this evening and the food was outstanding, we both had the rib eye steak and it was one of the best steaks I have had! we had a lovely table by the fire, warm welcoming friendly atmosphere, Highly recommended, Thank you again Soph we will be back soon! Xx

Visited last night for a meal and the pub quiz! A really warm and friendly welcome from all staff! The food was awesome, topped off by amazing service throughout! Will be back to try the puddings!! �

Visited The Rising Sun with a friend last night, a big warm welcome as soon as we walked through the door, perfect table right next to the roaring fire, lots of variety and choice on the menu (we had the steak which was amazing) and fantastic service. We will definitely be returning. Well done Sophie. Brilliant Job

Very cheery welcome !!! Just what we fancied - pub grub done really well ! The chips were delicious � all washed down with lovely bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. We’ll definitely be back !

Two lovely snowy evenings by the fire with yummy food and drink. Would definitely recommend the burger; so good I had it both nights! Well done Sophie. X

Such a cute friendly pub. We had a table next to a cosy roaring fire and the food was amazing. Lovely big portions and one of the best steaks I've ever had!. The chips are proper homemade chips and are sooo good!. Beautiful meal all round. Will definitely go again. �

Sophie your garlic mushrooms are amazing and the rib eye steak so melt in your mouth 6 stars in my book well done support local pub ����

Being the amazing Mum that I am�� couldn’t be bothered to cook So phoned up last minute and managed to get a table for me and the kids! Lovely friendly pub, nice,clean and tidy, great staff and amazing food nothing was to much trouble and all reasonably priced defianatly come back again ��
