Nothing to fault here. A very comfortable, clean room. Lovely staff and a great big bathroom
Hotel was ok. Stayed whilst on a work trip to the local area. Room was comfortable but a little warm. Bar was surprisingly cheap. Staff were all very friendly. They should probably consider securing their wireless network though as I could of had some fun with their Sonos speakers 😀.
Great venue, restaurant is immaculate, bar is cosy and welcoming. Staff are very friendly. It may be off the main road but the hotel is surrounded by trees and elevated so you don't notice it at all.
The room was clean but required maintenance: the shower was unusable due to incredibly low water pressure (an issue known by staff). Positives: I washed in a sizable bath and the breakfast was fair. The double bed comprised two mattresses - one damaged and sagging in the middle, the other was on it's last legs. I would have reported the issues at check out, but the front desk did not inquire about my stay! It appears they do not care - would not recommend.
Some time since last visit. Sadly no longer family owned. New chef with new ideas. The charm of this hotel/restaurant was in its formal but personal style. Trust not too many changes afoot??

It's one of my favorite place in the Liverpool area. Everything is perfect. Rooms are as clea as they can be and personnel is very nice. The breakfast is great and you may ask for anything you fancy! I also have my dinner at the hotel restaurant. Great food and reasonable price.
Friendly staff. Overpriced restaurant, but food was of a good standard. Tidy and comfortable room. Plenty of amenities and free water/biscuits. Was very surprised by how there was no maid service. Stayed for two nights and came back in between to find no new towels or a made bed. Spoiled an otherwise nice stay.
Dining here is a Delightful experience with excellent first class food and service. Never had a bad experience. Would recommend every time. 5 star.
