lovely food - high quality restaurant standard at gastropub prices; friendly service; booking advised (but we didn't and had a drink in the bar area beforehand which was hardly a chore)

Sunday lunch was excellent - great quality, well presented and plenty of it! The bread and butter pudding is also highly recommended ūüėČ Service was very good and everyone was friendly and attentive. A great pub in a wonderful location.

Lunch yesterday was the BEST ... couldn't have been better. SUPERB menu selection, EXCELLENT service from the ATTENTIVE and FRIENDLY staff. Thank you, a long way from Yorkshire but we will return.

Beautiful setting, especially if the weather allows eating outside. Food is nicely cooked from a good selection on the menu. Service is good. Prices are reasonable.
