A lovely pint of ghost ship. 😊 We returned the next day to try the food. Very good and the staff very friendly.

Lovely warming atmosphere. Good food. Reasonable prices especially with the fixed price menu.

Eaten here for a quick roast dinner one Sunday with family. Frendly staff & has a nice atmosphere.

Saturday Steak Night... such a shame that the staff out front are completely let down by the management.
Quality of the food, not good. Presentation of dishes, could be a lot more appealing. Starters were all very nice.
Steak cheap, unchewable & that was a Ribeye, the rest were very fatty & average. Desserts, the sticky toffee pudding just floated in what tasted like tinned cream & was horrible & not eaten! The rest were lacking in either sweetness or enough custard. The cheese board, well overpriced & not presented as per the menu as they'd run out of grapes. A suggestion, that perhaps before serving a dish, if there are alternative ingredients to replace others, the customer should be told as people may have allergies.
I've given a 3☆ as Shannon & the rest of the restaurants waiting team were very friendly & a credit to The Robin Hood.

Excellent meal. Very accomodating (as we had not booked). Good choice of food and beer (for the hubby and my father). Very good!

Excellent food, really wanted to order everything as it was so tempting after I saw all plates around. Really advice you to watch out for low ceilings as I wasn't that fortunate. Definitely place I'd come for any occasion.
