We visited here for a meal in November and were taken by the attention of the staff , and the exceptional home cooked food . We noticed they were advertising Christmas and Boxing Day menus so decided to book for Boxing Day . The best thing we did ! The food was amazing , really hot ,and the mince pies were heavenly ! I was served so much turkey that I'd wrapped some to bring home for our dogs ,and the lovely lady out of the kitchen went and filled me a container up of both beef and turkey for them !! Fabulous service, fabulous staff ,and such reasonably priced food that we will definitely be booking again very soon xx

We can't recommend this pub enough. Staff where friendly and helpful, food was excellent and very good value for money, and as for the Roebuck beer, well I think for the first (bitter) brew from their onsite micro brewery absolutely amazing. We were lucky enough to have a sample of their coming (blonde) brew and this was equally impressive.

Well done to all involved. We will be back.

We booked a table for my mums surprise birthday meal. The food was delicious, the staff were welcoming and friendly and the owners couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be returning in the near future.

Loved it....taking on a pub in this day and age is a courageous undertaking, but what I've seen of the new Roebuck, it can only be a success and deserves as much support as possible. Well done.....a great venue.

Considering I've worked & lived in this pub and seen it at it's worsed.. Gill, Darren, Abbie, and the Roebuck team, have turned this place around.. It's exceptional! They're the perfect people for this place, with there own home brewed beer, There warm & welcoming atmosphere, there beautiful new renovations and especially there delicious food. Having had quiet a few meals here, even on a very busy night they still found us a table, and on telling us there will be a wait, they got there delecious food out as quick as they could. Most appreciated. We have 2 pubs in walking distance in our village and The Roebuck has always been our drinking hole or our one to go to.. but now it is our definite go to eat & drink. Thank you Team Roebuck for making this place worth visiting again �

Just celebrated my birthday at The Roebuck.. Staff were excellent and very attentive. Excellent beers and a really good atmosphere.. Chicken curry was lovely but disappointed that there were no Naan breads. McCains chips nice but would prefer homemade. Jacket potato very bland; however we will definitely be going again because we enjoyed the evening and were thoroughly looked after. Thank you to Darren and his team..👍
