The Roebuck Gastro Pub Chiswick

About The Roebuck Gastro Pub Chiswick

Since The Roebuck Pub's opening in 2006, praise has come thick and fast for this seriously good pub and dining room. Runner- up (in its first year of operation) for Time Out’s Gastro Pub of the Year 2007, Time Out reported "The dish of Cumberland Sausages with creamy mash and gravy was as good as [it] gets. . . The Roebuck menu has plenty to savour". If this wasn't enough, the W4 Website proclaimed that "the hand cut chips are the closest thing to perfection" with "Chiswick's best Sunday Roast".

Run by the talented team of Sam, Egle and Richie, as managers, and Lukas, who you can see in action in the open kitchen, The Roebuck thoroughly deserves its reputation and its success. One of our customers, a restaurateur herself, recently designated the braised chicken leg with buttered carrots and parsley mash as "the best lunch I have ever eaten" - and wait for this - it cost all of £5!

The pub part at the front of this big Victorian corner building is popular and lively, with great beers, ales and wines, as you would expect. In addition, The Roebuck has the best garden in Chiswick; leafy, pretty and quiet. A great gastro in a lovely area of town.
