We had a lovely meal here. Delicious fish and chips and beef burger. The decor was quirky and the pub was cosy, just what we were after on a freezing cold February evening.

We attended a wedding reception at The Rose yesterday. The staff were friendly and professional, the food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was jubilant. The setting is superb, with gorgeous views of the river. I would highly recommend this venue.

Superb location with wonderful views across the Thames and down to Westminster. Had our sons 1st birthday party in the 1st floor function room and everyone was very impressed. Food was excellent and the staff could not have done more to help. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed New Years Eve here, they had decorated the upstairs & downstairs room beautifully. Our main meal was a long time coming but when it did arrive it was delicious as was the starter & des. After watching the midnight Thames fireworks we were back to The Rose for a night filled with great dancing to music played by the DJ. The staff worked really hard to keep tables clear & were very helpful.

Lovely place to relax have a drink and or a meal. The food is great . The chicken pie (pie of the day) was to die for.

I just want to give the biggest shout out to the staff at The Rose Pub tonight!! You guys are amazing and I can't thank you enough for going above and beyond!!



After a long day of traveling, my husband and our two teenage daughters stopped in for dinner. The food was amazingly delicious and the beers were cold!



Unfortunately my daughter mistakenly left her clear plastic retainers on our table when we left. She remembered before we had gotten a block away and we raced back to the pub to find the table cleared and the retainers gone. Our waitress didn't realize what they were and threw them away. When I told her, she and the bartender and another staff member spent a solid 15 minutes at least looking through multiple bags of garbage, finding them at last.



You guys have likely salvaged the rest of our vacation!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Great place. Barman was attentive and friendly, food was delicious. Nice place to chill and chat after walking around the glorious city that is London. �

Great place! The food was incredible and loved how the downstairs was more of a pub and upstairs was more of a dining area. The location on the Thames River is great and plenty of windows to look out of. We had Matt as our fantastic waiter and he helped educate us wth the menu since it's a little different than in the States. This place is definitely worth checking out!

Good times, however the overpowering smell of the lillies whilst we were there did somewhat cause an issue, I think this was a one off though, good music and open until 2am so perfect to round off an evening.

Awesome pub on the Thames! The reviews are all correct, GO TO THE ROSE!! After nearly three weeks on our honeymoon my wife and I couldn't have found a better place to have dinner and cocktails and unwind after a ton of sightseeing(the view upstairs in brilliant). Our server Carl welcomed us with open arms. Service 10/10. Food 10/10-Steak and also Fish N' Chips. A "Dark N Stormy" will get u where u need to go as well

Little more upscale than your local pub, and better grub. The place to go to when in Lambeth.

It's just ok. Can't for the life of me understand why you can't get vinegar in this place when you order fish and chips, it's a British pub and British fish and chips with salt and vinegar is the norm.

Popped information a quick refreshment before going to an event nearby, the place seems nice and the bar staff atrentive, but £2.10 for a pint of lime and soda is shameful.

Called in yesterday for lunch and was very disappointed at the service. There was a large party that arrived and the staff paid more attention to them, so much so that the man on another table had to go up to the bar and ask for someone to come and take his order. The waitress didn't even come back to check if my food was ok. Very lackluster performance by the staff.



The food was ok and the location is nice.



When I asked for the optional service charge to be taken off the bill, the bar man said the poor service wasn't down to him and looked pointedly at the waitress.



Having worked in this business in the past as far as I am concerned it's a team game, and he should have spotted that customers were left waiting.



Goodness knows where the manager was!

This is a shit place with shit customer service . I went there with a couple of friends and trying to find a table to sit in the upstairs area but been told off by a bartender to go downstairs even though there was loads of table available. Also been talking to a guy in charge who instead of trying to listen to what we had to say but he was unapologetic and basically told us to move downstairs also . Rude and very unprofessional. Never going to this place again !

The food was ok and the location is nice.



When I asked for the service charge to be taken off the bill, the bartender coldly asked me if the service was poor. I answered that the service was OK but I just don't feel like paying it. The bar tender got upset and just told me that I should let waiter know about not paying the service charge at the time I was ordering. He said that I have to pay the charge.



What the f*ck? Very disappointing...
