Beautiful setting. Plenty of outdoor space. Staff very helpful and friendly. Meals a little pricey for what you get thou - definitely look better on the menu. Would advice eating her in quite hours for better standard of meals.

Have been going to Rovers for a while we booked to go Saturday and try the new menu..well what a disappointment ordered our steak and turf combo looked forward to our steaming skillet for it to come out on a normal plate..very disappointing had ordered coleslaw which always came out in pot on side for my boyfriend instead it was poured over my dinner and i cant stand the stuff..we told the waitress we werent happy and decided to leave our dinners and go elsewhere. Won't be going back unless they revert back to the old way of serving dinner and even then will be very reluctant to give them another chance! Why change something that wasnt broken!

Great food at great prices, sometimes service can be slow but in the end the wait is worth it!! They also have food challenges....

The food is plentiful, the drinks are reasonably priced and varied, and there's usually a seat to be found. The decor has had better days, but it's still got a nice old barn charm to it. Great place to take kids, and the beer garden is always in the sun when it decides to come out.

Went on Sunday 10 Sept. Steaks tough as old boots, dry and no taste. Staff blamed change of suppliers and equipment failure. Would that explain cold chips and peas? Told that several meals had been sent back. Kitchen was closed day before for same reasons. Not impressed by management failing to address tech problems before re-opening. Felt sorry for serving staff having to put up with customer complaints. Will give it a miss in future.

Turned up without booking for a table of nine, staff couldn't of been nicer food was excellent

Would recommend this place to my family and friends. Excellent food and great value for money. Really impressed and will definitely go back.
