Though the B&O fleet grew with various acquisitions to supplement our original Frontier Class ships, it was not until 1994 that we introduced a new set of our own ships. The Sun Class built upon everything that was loved about the ships we had at the time and expanded upon them. As some of the largest ships cruising the world when launched, this ambitious expansion was to really solidify our position at the forefront of ocean travel. Though they are now far eclipsed in size by various younger sisters, the Sun Class continue to provide their unique combination of 'big ship choice, small ship feeling' the world over, and having recently completed extensive upgrades, they shall continue to do so for some time yet!

Our first purpose-built cruise ships, these 4 sisters sailed in British & Oceanic colours between 1971 and 2002. Firm favourites, the Frontier class represents the beginning of our cruising heritage, and as such all of us here at B&O retain deep affection for these attractive, sleek and pioneering vessels.

On board our flagship, Oceanic Majesty, carols are currently being sung in the Lobby and at 2345 a special service of Midnight Mass will take place in the Queen's Theatre. We would like to wish all of our fans and guests the happiest of Christmas's!

We are happy to announce the new name of our oldest ship.
ATLANTIC is now renamed OCEANIC BREEZE!
The ship still has a way to go as far as the refit is concerned but she has made an amazing transformation so far!
... We at Oceanic are also very excited to announce that our website will so be receiving a much needed re-vamping as well! Our North American Operations Manager Andrew Hensley will be supervising the overhaul of the site as well. We hope you will follow us once the website is back up and running.

Due to the adverse weather conditions affecting the UK and North Western Europe, this is the current situation:
Oceanic Navigator will remain in Southampton overnight before proceeding on the scheduled 9 night Iberian Interlude voyage with a late morning call at Vigo on Tuesday.
Oceanic Independence will remain in Dublin overnight before returning to Southampton tomorrow morning. The scheduled Mediterranean Medley voyage will depart late tomorrow evening.
... Atlantic will proceed to Southampton on her current Eastbound Transatlantic voyage.
If the situation changes, we will post further updates.
