This week we welcome the nine writers taking part in our 2019 summer residency. Almudena Ramírez-Pantanella, Anna Nygren, Dino Pešut, Enis Maci, Léonie Casthel, Maryam Zaree, Mihaela Drăgan, Pier Lorenzo Pisano, and Teresa Dopler will spend three weeks at the Royal Court - meeting British artists, attending workshops, seeing and discussing theatre and developing a new play.
This residency has a special focus on writers from Europe and in particular from the EU 27 countries. At a moment of huge change and uncertainty in Britain’s relationship with Europe, we are engaging with a new generation of artists across the continent, committed to keeping deep international partnerships alive.
