Awesome afternoon tea although it clearly wasn't actually clotted cream. What we saw of the hotel was wonderfully clean.

You are across a stunning park and a short walking distance to all the main areas in Bath.
Room Tip: The back side rooms overlooking the gardens are recommended

It is a great option if your staying in Bath. Very friendly staff from the moment you walk in the front door and reception. All dressed immaculately and helpful. The rooms are very well laid out. If the weather is in your favour then afternoon tea on the lawn out back. Although I gave 5⭐️ it's not without some niggles. Some of the staff at the back restaurant and bar look like they might have just got up! And that's more than one. And it does have a slight disconnect from the hotel. But it's still worth a great review.

Every mouthful was delicious and so fresh. Staff were super. Location so peaceful in the beautiful gardens. A special treat indeed.

Beautiful hotel. The best in Bath. Understated Georgian elegance and faultless service. Located close to the centre but far enough away to be peaceful and very quiet. A fabulous break.

A friend was visiting Bath so after a bit of walking and chatting we popped in for coffee. Beautiful weather so we sat on the croquet lawn. Service was friendly and efficient, and the peace of the surroundings was lovely in a city so busy with tourists. Not a particularly cheap place for a drink, but sometimes it's worth paying just a little more to be somewhere so historic and charming.
