Lovely room, dinner and breakfast well prepared and presented. Staff very friendly.
Well presented downstairs bar and drinking areas inside. Central location in the village proved popular on the day of visiting. Polite staff, added to the atmosphere.
Stopped by for lunch with friends. The hotel and staff were welcoming as always and we enjoyed tasty well priced food and drinks. A lovely relaxing lunch, looking forward to stopping by again soon!!
Excellent pub, restaurant and hotel. Great as a touch of luxury for an overnight stay. Right in the centre of Kirkby lonsdale, very convenient. Great food and service. Recommended
Beautiful hotel, very welcoming staff. Had a great night and slept like a log. Breakfast was amazing with a full Cumbrian.
The last time I visited Kirby Lonsdale the Royal Hotel was boarded up and derilict. Visiting again it was great to see that had been developed and was functioning once again as a hotel.
The Royal has had a lot of money invested in it and I really enjoyed my visit. There's a great selection of craft beers and a good wine list.
The menu selection was good and I can highly recommend the Sunday lunch - my roast beef was cooked to perfection thank you chef.
The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive - not intrusive.
It's great to see this building is back in commission and playing it's part contributing to and putting something back into its community.
