Food was lovely when it came took a little while even though we were onky ones in the pub the coke tasted like water with a drop of coke in but i lived with it would visit again though lovely little family friendly pub
Absolutely brilliant food! Very friendly staff too! I had the Royal Oak burger which was beautiful and my girlfriend had the Not fish and chips which was equally as good!
Great place and friendly staff. Food was brilliant only slight negative was the limited choice of wine. This won't stop us from going back as everything else was so good.
I had dinner here with my wife and two young boys. Paid £56 for a mediocre meal after being told that my first two preferences on the menu weren't available. A glass of lemonade was £3… and they tried to charge extra for the boy's desserts despite them being included in the meal deal. It was quickly rectified though. Table service was slow beyond belief. Wouldn't recommend.
The Royal Oak is a well run pub, with excellent beer and food, and a comfortable ambience. Worth seeking out, it has a large car park - out of season the car park seems busier than the pub itself, but you'll always get a warm welcome.
Cosy little pub, friendly staff.
Great sunday roast and consistently good, hence I come every week. Open log fire over the colder months and never too busy which is good a real gem 👌
Good food but a bit pricey. Bread was poor quality. Friendly staff.
Tasty food, especially the chips. Quiet beer garden.
