Modern clean rooms, very friendly staff, dog friendly rooms and separate eating area for guests with dogs, lovely large breakfast and great location. Highly recommended and will return again
Nice rooms but ours was at the top of 3 steep stairs which we weren't as aware of when booking. Some staff are quite 'reserved', the best thing was the owners older mum serving breakfast, she made the place!
Good value B&B with all the old-fashioned virtues of good service and modernised rooms. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with compact but efficient bathrooms. The car park is quite a crush, so be prepared to move your car if you're the last one in. If you're visiting Alnmouth, which is an excellent choice, the Saddle is right up there. Breakfasts here is good too. All told, I couldn't fault it.
