Visited on 6 October. Fabulous - food was lovely and the ambience perfect. Staff friendly and the restaurant was immaculate and stylish. Will definitely visit again.

Took my mom here for her birthday and nothing was too much trouble. The staff kindly put a banner out as well as a balloon and a bottle of prosecco that I pre ordered for the table. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere and decor were also to a high standard. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and I will certainly be returning.

The Salty is just what Teignmouth needed. Friendly and efficient service in stylish surroundings. Spoilt for choice on the menu and will be working my way through! Well done Josh and team, you have it just right, and thank you for a great start to Saturday evening

I had the pint of prawns with their delicious dip and rustic bread. Hub had the scallops which he said were best he's had in a long time. Great rustic bread.

Looking for lunch, and being a typical seaside town there were a number of ho-hum looking places. Until that is we chanced upon the smart and clean The Salty. Their website is still getting organised and they cannot be on TripAdvisor yet as they've only been going a couple of months and the previous trade at this address still occupies that location on TA. Give it time to get them up there and ranked, and quite rightly so - the food was excellent, nicely presented and tasty. Fish specials are as available. My John Dory and my wife's fish cakes were both excellent. They were taking bookings all the time we were there and even had to refuse a coach as it is limited size. They are thoroughly recommended - find them out as they deserve to do well so you can be well fed-up. And I know what I mean by that!

Just been in for lunch, took my Dad for Father’s Day! It was lovely! We had a pint of prawns to share as a starter then fishcakes, fish and chips and then the special of the day. It was all really yummy!

The service was brilliant, the waiting staff were lovely.

Absolutely superb!!! Well cooked! Beautifully presented, fresh sea food. Great service with a smile. I’d highly recommend this as a top place to go with family, friends or as a couple on date night������
