Wonderful place, very welcoming and a cut above ❤️ Excellent chips, the best asparagus soup ever (with wild garlic) and stunning cheeseboards. A woodburner in the cute bar which is dog friendly and has an amazing whisky section.

Well cooked and really tasty food - elevated from standard pub offerings. Home baked crusty bread, home made houmus as a pre starter. Then butternut risotto, squid in garlic salt, a perfectly cooked steak, cheese soufflé. It was all delicious- plus the chips are to die for.

We called in Saturday lunchtime during the 40's weekend, luckily just before it filled up. The welcome was very friendly, beer was good and the food was amazing. The cheese souffle is very highly recommended.

Sandwich snacks on the Sunday were just as good.

We will be back whenever we are in the area.

User

Very friendly staff. Superb food especially the twice baked soufflés

The best breakfast ever which kept us going all day.

Thank you for a lovely night away.

The food , service , and atmosphere here are all top notch. A mix of a local pub feel with a restaurant area for making it feel special the 3 course children’s menu for £10 was especially fabulous!!

Highly recommend and probably best to book a table

Pretty pub in the lovely market town of Leyburn. Food is wonderful, a cut above normal "pub grub". Can highly recommend the Pollock wrapped in Parma ham and the duo of Dales beef. Puddings are to die for and a great selection of wine and a couple of real ales. Our third visit, and will definitely visit again when we return for another holiday. Fab!

Lovely visit to The Sandpiper Inn. Went for Sunday lunch this week and food was lovely. Not your traditional Sunday roast but a lovely menu all the same. Would highly recommend..

Had another amazing meal on the 21st for my 40th birthday. All three courses where up there with the best food I have ever eaten. Great staff who started off a happy birthday sing along through all the other guests. Cannot recommend highly enough, especially the Chocolate, Popcorn, Frozen Custard and Marshmallow finish to the meal, incredible!!!!

User

Called in for a last minute meal tonight for my mother in laws birthday. The lady who was working was wonderful, so friendly. The meal was fantastic and service the best I’ve had in a long time. Catered for all tastes and a lovely children’s menu. Fresh tasty food served with a smile. I can’t wait to return. Cheese soufflé was the best I’ve had and my husband loved the burger. My toddler especially enjoyed the tag cheese, beans and chips. Huge thank you.

By far the best meal I have ever eaten, so glad we found this lovely place. Made our few days in Leyburn extra special.

User

Amazing place fantastic food and the chef actually comes out sometimes and asks if everything ok could not ask for better

User

Amazing food and great atmosphere!!!

Emphasis on diners but made to feel very welcome just for a drink. Beers (local) in fine fettle. Leyburn is very lucky with all its pubs.
