Went here with my family and my grandchildren over the Easter break. Lovely pub, really warm welcome from the staff, and lovely fresh food. Good portions and very good value for money, and especially the offers. I would highly recommended this pub for food or drinks, and any occasion. Looks like some refurbishment works have been done since my last visit which are nice.
Well we had yet another great meal on mother's day. The food was spot on and the staff were very friendly and professional, hope they got lots of tips xxx
We found this little gem, via BritStops, we had a very nice sundaylunch with our lovely English Friends here, and stayed for the night with our Camper, first time we did stay for a night with our camper at a pubsite, it is a very good place to stay, we loved it here, thank you for having us
Me n my mum really enjoyed our food, excellent customer service and good value, only tiny grumble is that the small stools at the table need to be a bit bigger for comfort - thank you
It was a lovely day when I visited so we sat outside in the beer garden which still has table service and has beautiful views.
The food we had was lovely and good value for money for such a nice place.
Staff were friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our visit. Will definitely be returning!
Beautiful venue sat outside in the garden to dine.. the food was scrumptious an the service was excellent .... great value fr money great views an will definitely be going back xx
We had the two eat for one deal. The food was great value for money & the barman was very friendly & was very attentive . My only complaint was, the fire wasn’t lit ...I was very cold !
Fish and chips for two was very good, had plenty of good meals here but the only downside is the price of the beer just keeps on increasing, although I understand that pubs have to make money, normal people only have so much disposable income to spend on overpriced beer.
Lovely setting but food rubbish. Prawn and crab sandwiches in dry stale bread. Replacement slightly better. Bread dry though - not buttered ‘crab’ was chopped up crab sticks with a couple of prawns. Shane as it’s a lovely setting just horrible food.
