Stylish and contemporary, these 5-star luxury apartments have a magnificent location on Scarborough’s North Bay, on Yorkshire's rugged and beautiful East Coast.
The Sands are luxurious, award-winning apartments and have been given a 5-star Gold rating by VisitBritain.
All apartments have modern 5-star furnishings, flat-screen TVs, DVD players and designer kitchens and bathrooms. The bathrooms come complete with luxurious toiletries and bathroom products from Elemis.
Each sea-view Apartment has a grand balcony, where you can look out to Scarborough Castle and admire the stunning sea views.
Every apartment is allocated a free parking space in the secure parking lot. There is a state-of-the-art gym for the exclusive use of our guests, as well as a rooftop sun terrace with breathtaking views.

We stayed Friday 22/06/18 until Sunday 24/6/18. We we attending Gary Barlow at the open air theatre - perfect location for this venue as literally 2 minutes walk away. On site secure parking for one car a definite bonus. Sea view 2 bed apartment, lovely views, well equipped, clean and modern. Staff very friendly & helpful. Staying again in March 2019 as part of friends 60th birthday celebrations and can’t wait. We had fab weather but think even if stayed in the winter months be great to watch the sea and be visy.
These apartments are spacious, comfy and come with the best views. Love out apartment Lockton 6 but some of the points raised in previous review are still faulty. Regardless of these minor points we will definitely be coming back. This is our second stay and have loved it each time
The place when you want luxury. Celebrated my 50th here and would love to come back for my 55th. Close to the lovely sea and sand where you can relax depending on what you're looking for. Everything is close by.
Really didn't want to leave today after a 2 night stay! We were very impressed with the 2 bedroom garden view apartment that we hired. It was spotless and very comfortable. Fabulous location for the open air theatre. The open top bus right outside to take us to the South Bay. Busy bar downstairs and handy general store too. Can't wait to book another visit. Staff were helpful too.
My sister and I stayed for a long weekend with our elderly parents and would highly recommend. Staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely spacious, clean accommodation with games left in bedroom for children, DVD's to watch, Wi game if weather bad. Secure parking. Will definitely go back for another stay � totally loved the place ��
Me, my husband and 2 grandchildren have just got back from a 4 night stay at The Sands apartments. It was everything and more that we hoped for. The apartment was beautiful, well equipped and comfortable. The sea view was stunning. Will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff at The Sands as well for their great customer service. Worth every penny!
Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights and were sad to leave. We had a non-sea view apartment and next time we will be booking the sea view. The apartment was on the first floor and it was so clean and well kept. It was well equipped with everything you could need. Would definately recommend and can't wait to book again.
Just back from afew days at the Sands with my daughter in law and 2 grandchildren age 5 & 1. Had an absolutely fabulous time. It's my second time staying here and this time was better than last. We had a 4th floor 2 bed sea view and it was lovely. Bathrooms looked like they had recently been renewed. It was equipped with everything we needed and decorated very tastefully. We all loved it and didn't want to leave!
Girls in reception were really helpful, even printing off discount vouchers for a theme park for us. We will definitely return.
I’ve stayed in these apartments twice now with my partner and both times they have not disappointed. They are stunning apartments. Defiantly luxury and worth the spend! The sea views are perfect. I would defiantly recommend a room spending the extra for a room with a sea view! They have everything you need and more. Both times I have stayed I didn’t want to leave. The first time we stayed we got a 2 bed apartment with a sea view and it was very spacious, cosy, and beautifully decorated. Perfect for a family. The second time we stayed (November this year) we got one of the apartments with a hot tub. It was smaller but still had plenty of space. It had a much cosier feel to it. The apartments are right on the beach so the views were the best I have had in Scarborough to date. (I’ve been going for many years) the hot tub was brilliant, however the only downfall is that the music didn’t work which is a minor thing in my books. We spent more time in the apartments than we did out and about. Highly recommend the sands. Well worth the money �

Best place for me, contemplating moving to Scarborough but then realised I wouldn't be able to stay here as it then wouldn't make sense! Accommodation, perfect for me, complete escapism which is what I need, Hospitality fabulous and location... no better one for me... x

Absolutely amazing accommodation. Myself and my husband have just spent two nights in a 2 bed, sea view appartment with hot tub to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
The place itself was beautiful, clean and modern! And the staff were very polite and attentive, nothing too much trouble! The 2-4-1 voucher for Alpamare was also very welcome! Already looking for an excuse to come back! Thank you 'The Sands'!
