fantastic food, fantastic service nice relaxing atmosphere. Took the wife for a steak after many recomendations to eat at this Steak House and i have to say i was not disappointed in any way. i would Highly recomend The Saracens Head to anyone who loves thier Steak. Thankyou for an enjoyable evening and we will deffinately be comeing back again.

The food was luvly but wish there had been a veggie chose to go with my veg.

No stuffing & i couldnt have the roast potatoes or yorkshire pud because they had been cooked in beef fat.so i had mash carrots cauli nd broccoli!!

But the food was gorgeous

We visited Saracens head on Thursday for lunch. It was my first ever visit to this pub and I was very impressed. Shaun greeted us at the door and was very friendly. We ordered from the lunchtime menu and had 3 courses for £12 which is very good value for money. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We have just been for a meal for my mum's birthday. The food was amazing and staff were too. Definitely will be returning soon x

The food was lovely and everyone were happy with their meals.

Staff were great and friendly and everything we asked for was no problem.

My wife and I haven't been here for a while as we've moved further away.

We had a pre dinner drink in the bar having let staff know we had a table booked. Fantastic service being taken to our table once we walked through. Starters arrived and were generous and delicious. The ribs aren't for the faint hearted. We had a steak each cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. We shared a sweet and will definitely be regulars

I don't normally leave reviews but just had to say how lovely and friendly the staff are. We went today for fathers day as a treat from the kids. We ordered our dinner and my husband wasn't very well so he cancelled his meal they were so good about it then I asked if I could take mine home as hubby really wasn't well they said no problem they brought it out all wrapped and in a lunchbox. Nothing was to much trouble for them. Will definitely be going back when my hubby is better. Would highly recommend. Looking forward to eating there again soon.

Had the 24oz steak .my god it was amazing .. cerainly be coming here again .. the manager served us 1st then the waitress ..excellent both of them ..the whole experience was fantastic ..

18 fir tea last night including 5 kids all served at same time because they already had menus everybody enjoyed meals no complaints 3rd time iv been there defo wont be last steak to die fir x

Service was quite slow but the staff were very pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. My food was nice but not the best Iv had, ham, eggs chips, my husband had fish and chips and again it was nice but not the best he's had. The other couple who were with us really enjoyed there food; a burger and steak pie. Would definitely return and try something different.

Not impressed. Service very very slow, booked in for 7.00pm eventually got main course at 9.00pm. Some food was cold, steaks not cooked to request and cheese and onion tart was disgusting.

No atmosphere and dining room was cold.

Will not be returning and not recommending to anyone.

Me and my sis had our tea here & it was enjoyable , her steak had to be redone as she asked for medium and got well done but they took it away and redid the whole thing no bother. The staff were really friendly and it's priced right .

Me and my hubby visited here on Monday for lunch first time we had been to this pub but was intrigued by the menu however when we arrived there seemed to be no one at the bar to greet us ,so made our own way to a table ,after about 5mins a member of staff came to us and took out drinks order ,she was very friendly but did seem to be running the bar and floor on her own ,the food however was amazing some really nice choices and the steak was mouth watering,I will be definitely returning in the near future.x

When we arrived no one came to us we had to find our own table Staff came to take the order for drinks very quickly Then they came to take the order for food the young girl was a bit rude taking the order The food took a long time the garlic mushrooms were very greasy the mushrooms on the main dish were really over cooked told the staff but got no feedback regarding this

Four of us went for tea.

Had to wait 40 mins for starter, nachos. Even though we were the only ones in there.

Three of the steaks cooked well but one under done.

We weren't asked if we needed more drinks.

Not impressed considering your paying over the odds for the food.

Attended a family birthday party upstairs in the function room. Staff very friendly, room just the right size for us. There was one downside. my mum arrived and due to her having mobility problems and a trolley for support, she couldn't climb the steep stairs. There was no other way up there so she had to go back home and missed the party. Maybe something to consider for the future? There's no disabled friendly access in that area.

This was a big disappointment it’s definitely not a gastro pub.
