ASL MS athletics teams had a mixed day on Thursday, April 21. The 7th and 8th grade boys baseball team tied 4-4 against ACS Cobham. The 7th and 8th grade girls softball team won 15-1 against ACS Cobham. The 7th and 8th grade girls lacrosse team tied 11-11 against TASIS The 7th and 8th grade boys lacrosse team lost 4-2 against TASIS. ... Additionally, the 7th and 8th grade track & field and tennis team competed at ACS Cobham, but team results have not yet been posted.

The ASL Parent Community Association (PCA) hosted the 2016 Global Festival on March 20. Families ran tables representing their heritage and culture, handed out food from these places, hosted games, and used various other ways to show the diverse community ASL is. It offered a way for students to better understand the places that the school represents.

The eighth grade girls basketball team competed in an LSSA festival at Marymount International School on March 5. The first game against TASIS was canceled due to late arrival on TASIS's behalf. ASL won 24-6 against Egham. ASL won 16-8 against Cobham.

The eighth grade boys basketball team competed in the LSSA festival at ACS Egham on February 27. ASL lost to ACS Egham 18-17. ASL beat ACS Cobham 35-27. ASL beat TASIS 21-18.

ASL's eighth grade boys and eighth grade girls basketball teams both participated in the International School of Aberdeen's (ISA) junior basketball tournament. After two full days of games against Southbank International School (England), ACS Egham (England), St Dominic's (Portugal), the Portlethen Panthers (Scotland), and ISA (Scotland), both teams took home silver, finishing in second place.
On February 5, the girls' first game was against St. Dominic's from Portugal, and ...the eighth grade girls won 16-6.
In the second game, the girls won 33-2 against Southbank International School.
In the third game, the girls won 21-11 against the Portlethen Panthers, a club team from Aberdeen.
On February 6, the eighth grade girls won 10-9 against ACS Egham in game number four.
In the fifth game, the girls won 28-2 against the ISA Bisons, which earned them a place in the championship game.
The final was a rematch against ACS Egham and the Eagles lost a closely fought game 9-7.
On February 5, the eighth grade boys beat the Portlethen Panthers 25-13 in their first game of the tournament.
In their second game of the day, the boys team beat ACS Egham 16-14 with the game winning bucket coming as time expired.
Playing in their final game of the day, the ASL boys lost to St Dominic's 22-9.
On February 6, the ASL boys' team beat Southbank International School 21-18.
In their last game of the regular tournament, the boys team beat ISA 18-12, which sealed them a spot in the championship game.
After making it to the finals with a 4-1 record, the ASL boys' team lost to St Dominic's 22-11.

The 8th grade boys lost 63-40 to Platanos. The 8th grade girls won 41-22 against Platanos. The 7th grade boys won 44-23 against Southbank.... Additionally, the MS dance team performed in between quarters at the 8th grade games.

The ASL cross country team raced at ACS Hillingdon on October 28. Eighth grader Garrett Van Wagner placed second overall for the boys, and seventh grader Amelia Adams placed first for the girls. Team results have not yet been announced.

AMIS (Association for Music in International Schools) Honor Choir Boys perform a sneak peek of their concert. The group consists of various international school students from all around the world. The choir have spent the last two days in intensive rehearsal. Their final performance will be at 7pm on October 17.

The AMIS Middle School Boys Honor Choir rehearses for their Gala Concert which takes place tomorrow, October 17 at 7:00 PM. The choir consists of students from international schools all over the world, who come together for a concert every year. Make sure to click the HD option on the video player for the best quality.
