We have that Friday feeling in The Shakespeare Hospice - with Trauma Teddies everywhere!
These unique cuddly cuties, which have been kindly knitted by patients at the Day Hospice in Diversional Therapy, will be heading to West Midlands Police for them to give to children who are victims of crime (burglary, accidents, some kind of trauma).

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching why not discard the traditional commercial madness and show your community hospice some love instead?

We enjoyed welcoming Health and Social Care students from St Benedict's Catholic High School who visited the Hospice today to meet with staff and learn about the variety of different job roles here.
The students enjoyed learning about the different types of therapy offered in the Day Hospice, including Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, Diversional Therapy as well as the many Complementary Therapy treatments (including Reiki, Reflexology and Indian Head Massage!) The stu...dents fed back that they could see how it would be a very rewarding career.
Mrs Donna Mumford, Head of Health and Social Care and Year 13 also kindly presented a cheque for £331.75 which has been raised through a number of activities in the sixth form.
Thank you so much for your support! 💜

The Wellesbourne Lions were kind enough to invite us to join in with their Santa Float collection in December.
A team of volunteers braved the cold and collected alongside Santa himself in and around Kineton.
All of their hard work paid off as we have been donated an amazing £250 by the Wellesbourne and District Lions Club group!

Today, we had a fantastic bunch of volunteers come and help decorate our Furniture Store at Avenue Farm in Stratford upon Avon.
Thank you so much NFU Mutual for your army of painter/decorators today and to Brewers Decorator Centres for the donation of equipment. Also many thanks to Boston Tea Party Stratford - Upon - Avon for the very scrummy treats for all the hard workers!

I am forever grateful for the support and care my dad (and the rest of our family) received from your amazing hospice at home team. They treated my dad with utmost respect and dignity and were a shoulder to cry on for us on the day he passed away. We know that they are there for us for the future too and we promise to support you as a charity to ensure other families get the same experience. Thank you x
