I know when people post about most places they talk about food and drink which is good but they do have excellent urinals in the men's a good example

I stayed for 2 nights while on a business trip and would highly recommend staying here. The good was high quality and reasonably priced served in a very nice bar area. The room was comfortable and clean with good quality furnishings and a comfortable bed. The staff are friendly and always ready to help with any enquiry you might have. The most spectacular part though is the view across the water to Wales. I will be back with the Wife for another visit I hope.

I stayed here for one night and ate here in the evening. The hotel is historic with small corridors and creeky staircases, just lovely. The single room was very clean with plenty of room. Had risotto for my evening meal which was amazing-my compliments to the chef! Breakfast was very good too. The whole hotel is perfectly placed to explore the coast and local area with friendly staff and clean, affordable rooms, what more could you want?!

Very nice restaurant. Stopped here half way through a bike ride, and although we felt a little under dressed we were welcomed. Staff were friendly and the food was excellent. Will definitely visit again.

I was at the Ship to join an annual fun walk around Wirral. The pub was busy on the Sunday I visited, with plenty of people enjoying what looked like sumptuous roast dinners. The service was polite, attentive & efficient. We sat on the decked outdoor seating area, which was clean & very pleasant. Bar prices were a bit on the high side, but you're paying as much as anything else for the picture postcard location on Parkgate Prom. I'd recommend calling in if you're passing & looking to enjoy a nice meal & drinks with friends or family.

Stopped for lunch on bank holiday Sunday. Food and location both fantastic.

Lovely pub/restaurant with good reasonably priced food & drink in a lovely location. Our room was warm, clean and comfortable, with all the usual facilities (tea/coffee, hair drier and toiletries) overlooking the Dee Estuary.
We'll definitely come back 😊

This is a beautiful little hotel, restaurant, pub. Set in Parkgate it offers a tranquil rest at affordable rates. Can't complain about the service and the room was perfect.

Visited for Sunday dinner, really busy but they still found us a table...the waiting staff are attentive and friendly!..the food, blooming superb!..they have a fantastic and dedicated chef and kitchen crew!!
