A lovely place with good views, an open fire, outside seating and lots of charm. Dog friendly. Small so fills up quickly. Plenty of seating outside if nice. Menu is limited but really well done and changed regularly. Nice beer and good service.

Popped in here for a cup of tea after walking the National Trust walk from Craster 3 miles away. As we had a 3 mile walk back we did not eat but food smelt good. Clean and welcoming place with its own micro brewery. You are also able to buy their bottled beers.

Amazing place if you love your real ales, they brew their own, it's fantastic. Dog friendly too and gorgeous setting with beach and sea views. Didn't have time for food but every table was reserved, this was 5pm on Thursday which has to be a good sign.

Great pub right on the beach, real old style feel to it. They serve their own craft beers from the on site microbrewery that are excellent. Beware, currently they are on winter hours which means Sunday to Tuesday they close at 7pm for food and drink. Also they are struggling for staff so if you plan to visit you might want to call ahead and check that they are open!!

The ship is an old whitewashed pub sat in the corner of a village green surrounded by old fisherman's cottages on three sides with a view out over the sea and beach which us wonderful on a nice day. The pub has its own micro brewery with a good selection of craft beers and it's own lager. Service can be a bit slow when it is busy but it is worth the wait.

We had an evening meal on the Friday and unfortunately it was a little disappointing the crab salad I had was fine, although the presentation could have been better however my wife's pork medallions were really disappointing as they were mainly fat with only s forkful of meat coming from each medallion. Overall the food was overpriced and overrated and left us underwhelmed. Still a great pub though.

Great atmosphere and despite the queue to order the food was served quickly. Kippers went down a treat.

Good food and beer, helpful staff. Gets very busy at times. A victim of its own success!

The Ship is one of a kind...a brewery on site producing all of its cask ales, no distracting music or gaming machines, a dedication to serving good home cooked food made from local ingredients, walker and dog friendly and in an idyllic location. Superb!

Good food and ales in a great setting. Can get very busy. Recommend the crab stottie and the Ship Hop ale!
