Very comfy superking ensuite room in a centrally located quaint pub. The food is out of this world, especially if you like shell fish as I do. Sophie and Andy are a very welcoming efficient couple and they and all their staff are lovely. We would recommend this place highly.

Really nice pub atmosphere in a stunning location. Would definitely recommend booking, though staff were very helpful in finding us a table and fitting us in on a busy evening. Food was great with plenty of variety; can definitely recommend the chips and local crab. My partner had the langoustine and said it was fantastic. Nice selection of real ale on tap as well, an added bonus! Very happy evening!

We have just spent a fantastic week at The Ship Inn and have nothing but praise for the accommodation, food, and brilliant staff, nothing is too much trouble.

We stayed last time two years ago, and it's just as good this time as then, and already we are looking forward to being able to make another visit when we can manage it.

A huge thank you to the Chef, your food is excellent, well cooked, extremely tasty and beautifully presented, we enjoyed every meal for our entire stay.

Breakfasts at the Ship are always good, not in the least greasy, and again well presented, also the toast is just as we like it, thick, and the brown had a lovely nutty taste.

Our room, No:3 as before was spotlessly clean with a fully topped up tea and coffee tray every morning, including biscuits and a chocolate each, the room also has had new windows fitted since our last visit.

The bathroom is fantastic, it's fully tiled and modern, and it's enormous with a good sized bath and a decent shower over it with a large glass screen.

So thanks each and every one of you at the Ship for making our stay another happy, memorable one, we look forward to seeing you all again next time.

We always go here when we visit Holy Island. Quite simply it's the best fish and chips I've ever had. Huge portions with seriously tasty batter. The service is very quick and they have a well stocked bar to go with it. There is plenty of seating although it can get busy on nice days, but there is an outside seating area to accommodate this. Overall it's and excellent place that we will keep coming back to.

Good pub with friendly staff. Had food and drinks and despite being really busy both were served quickly and friendly. Food was good and would definitely go again.

Stayed here recently, a lovely base to see a wonderful island. the location was amazing, so close to the beach, castle, shops, priory and everything else the island had to offer! our room was really comfortable and clean and the food/drink selection in the bar/restaurant was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all a really great experience! Can't wait to come again!
