The ship Inn is located in the village of Wylam which is close to Hadrian's wall and George Stephenson's cottage. We are situated 10 miles from the city center of Newcastle Upon Tyne and 7 miles from the Metrocenter which is one of Europe's biggest shopping centers. Newcastle Airport is 5 miles drive and we also have a golf course nearby. The Ship Inn is in a great location for exploring Northumberland's National park with its many walks and rivers. Wylam railway station is 5 minutes walk away and there is also a local bus service to Newcastle and Hexham. All our bedrooms have private bathrooms and free WiFi , free-view TV with tea and coffee facilities and are situated above the public house on the first floor which also has its own private entrance. There is Free parking available at the rear of the building and our continental breakfast is served in a bag and is delivered to your room during your stay ready for the next morning. We also serve a full range of beer's, wines and spirits along with a home cooked food including lunches' afternoon tea's and dinner which is available downstairs in the main bar area. We also have great entertainment at weekends and a beautiful beer garden to sit and relax and enjoy your drink.
