Went for lunch today and the food was fab, will definitely be back again and IŌĆÖll bring the dog next time ’┐Į’┐Į

We had a meal Tuesday night and could not fault it the steak was one of the best i'v had and was done to perfection even the kids were impressed definitely be eating there again thanks to the staff for everything

Very welcoming, we had 3 dogs in the beer garden with us, and the staff were really pleasant. Food was great, all freshly made. Would definatly go again x

This is our favourite place for a lovely meal out. I can't fault the place if I tried. The food is always outstanding and the family run pub is always a pleasure to visit. Friendly faces and fantastic service. Always 10 out of 10. X

The food was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were lovely. The place was clean and had a lovely atmosphere with its log fire. I took the Wife and my Border-Collie in on Saturday. It was his first time in a pub and the staff and customers were great with him. He settled really quickly. The food came out quick and was lovely. As I say the two ladyŌĆÖs behind the bar were had brilliant. ItŌĆÖs nice to go to a pub with the dog after a big walk. This will definitely be at the end of every walk up that way. Thanks again guys keep up the good work.

My daughter and I started calling in on a Sunday afternoon a little while ago and we have never been disappointed, a lovely place to eat with very helpful staff, very clean and tidy and always a place to park..

Lovely traditional country pub, family run. Always friendly service and great food. Dog friendly with a pretty beer garden, could cheerfully spend a whole day there but we tear ourselves away... The new menu is spot on ŌØż’ĖÅ

Just popped in on my way home from a cold Cheviot walk we received a warm welcome from both the bar staff and the open log fire.

Fantastic pub we popped in for food to find the kitchen closed but after speaking to the great manger she had a word in the kitchen and it wasn't a problem for us to have food! Couldn't of been more helpful! Proper chips and the best gravy ever and fab prices too with a decent bottle of white for ┬Ż9.95!!! Shame we don't live closer as I would definitely make this my local :)

After a gorgeous day at Craigside we popped into this lovely little pub starving! We had fantastic service,the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a delicious Sunday lunch I would highly recommend this pub for a nice traditional lunch.

A great little Restaurant and pub. Renowned for its Sunday Carvery, I would, however, recommend a Friday or Saturday night for dining. The main chef is in on those nights and the food has not disappointed on the weekends I've dined there :)

Lovely roast dinner with fresh veg, pity it wasnŌĆÖt homemade yorkies, but very filling. Had soup, skins and haggis scotch egg as starters. Quite large portions. Quite fancied lamb with ŌĆ£muttonŌĆØ being the name of pub name but not on menu. Worth the drive out. We were staying at forgetmenot not caravan site just up road. ┬Ż14.95 for Sauvignon blanc. Very reasonable. ┬Ż61 for 3 of us with drinks, starters and carvery.
