Went to Torquay for a couple nights, this place is fantastic, a really good breakfast with decent sausages. Cream teas are amazing!! Bought some home with us as well.

Next time in Torquay I'll be returning :)

User

We visited the Singing Kettle on the 9th October, what an amazing and delicious find! My son had a breakfast, which he thoroughly enjoyed and I took home a cream tea, which was superb!! So glad I've found this site and hopefully I can order a cream tea by post now. I absolutely recommend a visit to the Singing Kettle.

User

We popped into the Singing Kettle yesterday whilst on a weekend break In Torquay.

It was pouring down with rain and to go into this lovely tea room with friendly service and amazing cream teas was just what we needed .

Thankyou

User

We loved it. Very friendly people. The gluten free menu is great their gluten free scones & cream teas are absolutely gorgous. So are the sandwiches. Really highly recogmend the cafe to every one.

User

We came to Torquay for a day trip and we already knew we wanted to visit The Singing Kettle. My husband is gluten intolerant and trying to find somewhere to have a cream tea in Devon was proving tricky, that was until we found this place. The food was so tasty and exactly what we were looking for. It has an extensive gluten free menu and the cakes and scones are incredible. The staff are also all so friendly and helpful and couldn’t have done more for us! Next time we’re back in the South West we will be visiting again. Thank you for a lovely lunch and cream tea.

User

We are regular visitors - we love the cooked breakfasts and the mini breakfast is perfect for our 9 year old. Staff are always friendly and helpful - would recommend.

User

The walnut and coffee scones are fantastic

User

The Singing Kettle was recommended by a couple of friends as having great gluten-free options when I moaned that I wouldn't be able to have a cream tea because I have coeliac disease. I pass on that recomnendation. The heart-shaped gluten-free scones were lovely. The gluten eaters in my party would recommend the regular cream teas and the other high tea options. We'll certainly be visiting again before we leave Torquay.

User

Superb as always. Excellent choice of food and afternoon tea was amazing as expected. Staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you.

User

Love this tea shop spotlessly clean wonderful breakfast homemade cakes scones lots of other great choices very friendly staff can't do enough for u will definitely visit again when in Torquay

User

Just had a lovely afternoon tea at The Singing Kettle. Staff were lovely and food was delicious

User

Just been for a cream tea with 3 family members I am ceoliac and it was so nice to feel normal and have the same as everyone else. The gluten free scones were to die for and I have got a takeaway for later. Would highly recommend food lovely and staff very welcoming

User

How refreshing to visit somewhere where all of the staff are knowledgeable about allergies and know all of the ingredients to the food! As a family with coeliac disease and other food allergies it’s crucial to us that we feel safe and the staff really put our mind at ease. We had lovely full English breakfasts, even the kids polished off theirs, and we all had gluten free scones to finish! We felt welcome even with 3 children in tow, and were treated like royalty. Will definitely be returning!

User

Great food , My Wife loved the Gluten free breakfast .

User

Amazing, warm ginger scones, lovely chocolate orange cake and, of course, friendly service.

With the rain coming down, the little tea room was rather packed and busy but the staff never got frazzled. Waiting times for food were explained at time of ordering.

My annual visit is a highlight of my year!

User

Absolutely fantastic for Gluten Free! I can’t stress enough how wonderful it is to find a safe place to eat with a real choice of foods to eat - and an actual selection of cakes! The tea and coffee are also excellent and the staff absolutely lovely. I am local and visit regularly and it’s always such a pleasure.

User

A warm welcome awaited and such professional and accommodating service. The loose leaf tea is worth every visit in my opinion making tea drinking a delight! On my most recent visit the owner was more than happy to discuss the menu including gluten and dairy free options with another patron and her family in a way the children understood and were able to make an informed choice about their lunch selection. My Home made warmed mince pie with clotted cream was delicious. Every visit is a joy and I can't wait until I visit again. Excellent and a must for the discerning Tea & Coffee connoisseur! 1st Class!! Keep up the EXCELLENT work and warm customer service. Thank You x

16 of my family members & I (ranging from 6 to 85 years old!) went to the Singing Kettle today for lunch and had a variety of food (sandwiches, cake, omelettes, quiche) and were all very impressed with the quality of the food & drink. The generous portion sizes made it very good value for money.

Great staff - I booked in advance for a birthday lunch and had a birthday banner to welcome me. Despite there being so many of us, the food all came out very quickly and pretty much together.

Lovely, family run café. We will definitely be coming back here in the future.
