The Sir Robert Peel / Public House

On this day, 16 years ago, we opened the Sir Robert Peel. During this time we have won 4 pub of the year awards and 1 runner up at county level.1 barmaid of the year, although all our staff deserve a medal. We changed an ailing Irish theme into a thriving real ale pub with a good selection of other beers, opened a garden, along with a number of improvements. I'm sure we have also inspired a couple of other pubs to promote real ale, real music and real people. Thanks to all those who have supported us, a number have been regulars since day one.
